Great watch and the features are amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone that likes hiking and does multiple day trips. Solar feature really helps battery life.

I vought this as an upgrade for a Fenix 3 hr and let me tell you, this watches are built like a tank, they pretty much eternal if you take reasonable care of them, my Fenix 3hr lasted around 8 years and still functions pretty well. Now as for the 7x Sapphire Solar, there aren’t enough words, battery capacity is amazing, so far without being out in the sun a lot and with pulseoximeter fuction active 24/7 I get between 15 and 19 days on one charge. About the functions and sensors they are accurate and serve a lot of purposes, for example for tracking sleep cycles and several body functions references. I like hiking on mountains and trail running, the gps and location functions are amazing when you get to an unknown location. For the gym I love that the watch tracks my reps, sets and resting intervals. As well as for the training sessions for running. Being a person that has fought with weight and heart problems the heart rate monitor, pulseoximeter and other functions let me train effectively and with confidence not to over exceed my limits. Some people may think that the watch is overly big and not stylish and granted it isn’t a Rolex or a Omega, but with the right bands you can make work in some not so formal and casual occasions. The quick detach features of the bands makes it really easy and quick to change bands. Overall I could be happier, it is a great watch for everyone wanting the best capabilities from a smarth watch and a sport watch in one unit. It is big, but not heavy.

I love this watch. I have been wanting one for years now and I finally pulled the trigger. The heart rate feature is awesome and useful. The sleep tracking is pretty cool. I think its cool that it has a flashlight and red light. the white light is super bright surprisingly. There are a lot of accessories that you can order for the watch as well off Amazon. Its comfortable. Stylish. I work in marine construction and having gps as well as weather alerts is a nice feature. overall, very pleased with this watch and I will have a garmin in my watch collection from here on out.

Best watch I ever bought I work in construction and I love the durability and the battery life is amazing

I came from an Apple Watch. The Apple Watch was just an extension of my phone on my wrist, and the battery life was terrible. While the many functions and integrations of the Apple Watch are great for some people, I didn’t use them. I just wanted a durable sports watch that provided meaningful data on a wide range of activities (primarily gym, running, and golf). Golf is what brought me to the Garmin products. The Fenix seemed to have the perfect balance of everything I was looking for. Getting to the Fenix: The battery life has been amazing. I last charged the watch a week ago and have had 1-3 activities per day of 30-60 minutes and the battery is just over 50%. The watch is also extremely durable…So much so that I do not feel like I need a case and screen protector like I did for the Apple Watch. I’m still digging into all of the data, but from what I’ve done the past few weeks I can tell this will be on my wrist for a while.

Bought as a father’s day gift for my husband he wanted a watch that was accurate and offerred the features that are only on this Garmin watch. So far he has had 0 complaints!

I really like this smartwatch. I spend a lot of time outdoors and so it made sense to get this variant because of the solar charge feature that helps to extend the battery life, which when still relatively new, is around 27 days. It has also received very nice compartible updates in the last year that includes the ECG app, which as it turns out, can provide very valuable health insights. Of course, it has several other features, but I'm not trying to do any kind of actual watch review here. Overall, I like the watch very much and if you need a watch that provides all that this watch offers, you'll no doubt be pleased with it. And it's even cheaper now!

An excellent overall watch! This was an upgrade from my Fenix 5S. The screen is significantly bigger and easier to see while running than the 5S. I love the tracking features and I have this paired with my Garmin HRM. I do question the accuracy of the sleep scores and personal battery scores. I really don’t think they are accurate enough to base training off of.

I think the watch is perfect! Works as I want and need and enjoy the upgraded features from previous watch. The biggest problem I have is I bought this just over a month ago and last week I could have saved a ton. If you are thinking of purchasing, do not hesitate at that price.

A lot of usable features, battery life lasts a long time between charging. Very durable and looks good.

I upgraded from a Garmin Venu Sq and the additional activity tracking/data, amazing battery life, and flashlight are amazing. I haven't used the maps much yet but plan on doing more hiking with them when the weather improves. I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely the best smart watch I have owned. The battery life is the most attractive aspect to me. I actually now wear this on my left wrist and my Apple Watch Ultra on my right wrist. The health monitoring on both work wonderfully side by side. The maps and detail on said maps are incredible. I’ll admit I don’t use the message function on the Garmin because I use my apple ultra for all of my message and calling needs since it’s cellular. I highly recommend this watch for all your needs.

i have had this watch for a year and love it. indestructable through labor intensive jobs to workouts to ocean swimming/diving. the watch is mint, highly recommend. this is my 3rd fenix, ive had the 5x, 6x, now 7x and they are all awesome. probably will upgrade to the 8x when that is available. recommend this more with the nylon strap than the band that comes with it.
