    Overall GREAT watch!!! But backlight defective.

    I got a great deal on the GARMIN watch from Best Buy, which was a big plus! Everything about the watch is top notch for me, but the only problem I had was the "backlight" gesture feature. I reset the watch to factory settings, paired it to my iphone again, and followed the instructions carefully. Unfortunately got the same result, backlight doesn't come on automatically when viewing watch face. To some people it might not be a big deal to push a button to activate the backlight to see the time, but to spend a big chunk of $$$ on a high end smart watch, have it come defective on arrival, and for it not to function like it's suppose to is very frustrating. It's not like the feature worked then stopped working, but it never worked since the day to got the darn thing. Now I have to wait again for the watch to come in. When instead I could be enjoying it right now. Best Buy resolved the issue and ordered the same watch for the same great price deal for me at the store. Hopefully when it comes in it won't have the same issue. Maybe someone from GARMIN can give me a discount on some accessories for my inconvenience (hint hint). Thanks in advance! Happy New Year!
