Great upgrade from Fenix 3
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch. Upgraded from the Fenix 3 sapphire. Use mainly as a runner but glad to have tracking for walking, biking, hiking and skiing. 5x adds music and contactless payments which is great if out for a run and need something. Improved display and GPS best in business. Great battery life for all the features. Only possible downside is that is a large watch.

Great Watch, many options, display not "crisp".
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Trying to replace a 5-year-old Tom Tom Watch that had onboard music so I tried most options that have that ability. This jumped on sale so I decided to try it. Beautiful and well-built watch and many options/functions that I would never use. Heart rate sensor is sketchy but that is inherent to most optical wrist-based sensors. The biggest disappointment for me was the clarity of the display. It seemed to never be "crisp". Very disappointing with a watch at this price! Possibly it was the Sapphire crystal? Whatever the reason, I find that the display on the Garmin 245 music to be easier to see/clearer than this one. The displays are the same size (1.2") and resolution but the Fenix is a much bigger watch

Awesome wrist computer.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch. At first I was worried that it was to big but I got used to it. So many features on this watch, I use mine mostly for bicycling and walking. The bicycling info gives heart rate, incline and decline info, speed, distance, intensity, shows the map of your ride, etc.. Of course you need a sensor for your bike for some of that info. Can't go wrong with this watch.

Big but a Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch, but it is big. Its not the height, but the over footprint that is large. The price it is, to get into the Fenix line is worth it and the size starts to go away the more you wear it.

Great watch for hiking
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had like for over a month, been using it for trail running, biking and hiking. I love the build in topo map for hiking or backpacking while getting lost. Beside the size I’m happy with it.
