Display is hard to see, music is complicated to load, Menus take some time to learn. I returned and ordered the Forerunner 945. I love my samsung active 2 but they say garmins are the best for runners and i run 150 miles a month.

Crashed in a few days.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already had Fenix 3S and has been a fan ever since of this series so went ahead and bought this watch, to my dissappointment the watch stopped booting and charging after a month of use, had to get in touch with Garmin and got the watch replaced but this left a bad taste as I was not expecting this out of such a solid watch. I would not recommend this at a full price but if there is a good deal it has so much to offer comparing to the earlier version. Battery life is obviously less that Fenix3 because of the HR sensor - lasts about weeks with nominal use and gets worst with more activities.

I loved all the new features on this fenix5x plus and for the first 45 days it ran great. Not sure what happened. Woke up one morning and the steps read zero. Hasn’t moved since. Have been trouble shooting but am about to send back. Just want it to work! Really nice watch

Unable to respond to text messages on screen was a big no for him. The watch looks very manly and if you purchase this with the understanding that it would not send text messages this would be the watch for you
