Had lots of trouble with the GPS and compass was broken. Garmin customer service is great though and unfortunately my unit was defective. They tried hard to resolve issue but couldn't. I went to best buy and bought the Fenix 6. This watch is very very solid and not a dainty thing. It is already taking lots of abuse.

Purchased my Garmin 5X+ a few months back, and haven't taken it off since. Love all of the features and ease of use. The goals that update automatically as you reach them daily is a nice touch to keep pushing you is a nice touch.

This watch is the best! It tracks on and off road running biking swimming and more. It seems to be the most accurate that I have used thus far. The solar charging is a plus but doesn’t charge enough to never have to plug in, but I’d say 2-3 weeks with no charge.

I love my Garmin Fenix 5X! This is the larger watch which works well for me as I a larger guy. This watch tracks all my sports and has GPM. Moreover, it gives me heart rate reading to help me on my workouts!

I upgraded to this from a Forerunner 735. It's a little bigger than the 735, but I got used to that quickly. Bought it primarily for the pulse Ox and viewable maps. Both work as expected. I think this watch is the bomb - it's way more than a watch.

I haven't worn a watch in many years, too many to count. I haven't taken the Fenix 5X Plus off since I got it (minus to charge and shower (yes I know I can shower with it on)). I love this watch. Great battery life thus far and loving the feedback I get from the device.

I have been using this watch for 1 month it work very good the maps are intuitive and the apps. Use Garmin Connect to avoid excessive clicking when exploring and adding apps. Once I got past the intial learning phase over 3 days it was breeze to use.

I really love this Garmin. This fall they came out with an update that allows people to use spotify premium and download music. Dont need my phone during runs anymore. The price is high but I consistently enjoy looking at my stats and pushing myself to improve.

Im a smartwatch guy... it's actually a problem that's become annoying... until I picked up with watch. I no longer have am interest in switching between watches or trying the next new thing that comes out. My Gear S3 is shelved and this one takes the cake.

I'm generally happy with this GPS sport watch however I have a couple challenges with the product. The watch is very heavy and has taken some time to become comfortable. Also, the fonts are very small and hard to read given my "senior" eyes. I use primarily for golf and trail tracking.

Not worth the money. Display is hard to see, music is complicated to load, Menus take some time to learn. I returned and ordered the Forerunner 945. I love my samsung active 2 but they say garmins are the best for runners and i run 150 miles a month.

Pros *Functions of the watch are great * can change colors of bands * able to read in direct sunlight Cons *watch band seems flimsy & cheap *doesn't come with a cover over the charging points . This has to be purchased separately *should be brighter colors to read at night

I purchased this for my husband who enjoys his hiking. He is very pleased with it so far. The only negative thing is the flashlight doesn’t seem to be very bright. Other than that it gets 2 thumbs up!

I just used for few weeks and the watch was freezed up i thought was software i try to fix it but i couldn't the watch brand new

Excellent watch. Very very useful It is on Day to day activities. Comfortable to wear. And it is a watch that keeps perfect time. Information is easy to retrieve

Outstanding. Works well next trade up will be the new Garmin Ascent that is a scuba dive computer plus all of this. Ordered an additional Garmin that has world wide tracking and transmission SOS as well Garmin Rocks

Previously had the vivoactive 3 and I didn't enjoy the button scheme, touchscreen, or side swipe function. This watch takes all of that away. GPS is reliably accurate and the watch just looks amazing.

This has everything that I needed. It works out perfectly for taking hikes with the GPS maps, tracking of my elevation, distance, etc. I also really like that it has the sleep activity tracking as well.

Little bigger than the previous Garmins I have worn, but Garmin is the only way to go when it comes to watches. This watch does everything except drive my vehicle
