I LOVE THIS WATCH! the Forerunner 165. It is a highly recommended and reliable run tracker at a competitive price. The watch provides a comprehensive set of essential tools, including reliable GPS, pace, heart rate, and sleep metrics. The touchscreen is stunningly vibrant and remains clear even in direct sunlight. Additionally, the watch is lightweight and compact, making it very comfortable for all-day wear.

This watch does everything you need an entry level fitness watch to do. Battery life is 11 days without any GPS-tracked activities. I average about 45min/day of GPS tracked activities and i charge it about once a week. The ability to use third party watch faces and apps via Garmin Connect IQ really sets it apart from other watches. Connecting to your phone via the Garmin app is very easy, the ability to read texts and see if I need to respond is nice. If you want to be able to respond (via voice) or take calls, then you need to move up to the FR570, but it does what I need. The only negative feedback I have for it is the pool swim workout, it is not good at detecting when I change directions so the distance ends up being significantly off (+/- 20% at times) but I am only an occasional swimmer so it does not affect me very much. If you are an avid swimmer you may want to spec up.

Got this for my wife who is a marathon runner and she absolutely loves it. She was a fan of the Fitbits but says this watch is much more accurate and has more features.

I absolutely love my Garmin Forerunner 165. The watch band is noticeably more comfortable than the generic device I was using before, which makes it easy to wear all day. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a long time. I haven’t tracked the exact battery life, but it lasts long enough that I rarely have to think about charging it, which I really appreciate. One of the main reasons I chose this watch was the run coach, and it has been incredibly helpful as I train for my first 5K. The coaching features feel encouraging and practical rather than overwhelming. I also love the stopwatch and the run mode features—especially how the watch alerts me if my pace is too slow or too fast based on my finish goal. That real-time feedback keeps me focused and motivated during my runs. Overall, this watch has been a great upgrade and has made my training more enjoyable and consistent.

I’ve been using this watch for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. It looks so sleek on the wrist, modern, lightweight, and goes with everything from gym clothes to dressy outfits. The battery life is way better than I expected, and the screen is super clear and responsive. What really sold me though is the health and fitness tracking. It’s accurate, easy to use, and actually motivates me to move more throughout the day. I love being able to check messages, control music, and track my sleep without needing to constantly pick up my phone. If you’re thinking about getting a smartwatch, THIS is the one. AMAZING! The best watch I have ever gotten. It has everything I need as a runner and way more! Works very well and is super accurate. Watch battery is amazing and screen display is awesome. Arrived on time looking perfect!

No complains so far. Battery life is crazy good. I love the size. I will probably upgrade in a couple of years to something a little bigger with more functions but coming from an Apple Watch this was a great jump.
