I had a very old Forerunner and after 10yrs the battery died which it is nla. I wasn't sure i wanted another Garmin, so I tried Fitbit, Galaxy and a different Garmin and none worked out. I finally caved and bought this Forerunner 165 and I love it. I wanted something simple and theres so much more on this watch then i expected. So many options, Running, treadmill, walking, biking, swimming, heart rate, music and tells you the pace, your averagepace, so much.. Also, the battery last days and even tells you the batterypercentage. Ignore the bad reviews, this watch is great. Just buy it!!!!

While this watch may be minimalistic, it's what I personally like because everything you need is in this little watch. Especially if you're just starting your physical fitness journey with personalized workouts and overall levels and benchmarks to see where you stand. It's a great entry level watch of course missing some of the bells and whistles of the more expensive ones but if you're starting out this will do just the job

This watch has been everything that was advertised. Great interface and functionality. Mostly use for heart rate and sleep tracking but the fact that it allows for tracking data trends in multiple areas, it offers a peace of mind with overall health.

5day battery with daily 45min run. Charging time 2h. Great gps signal. Great sleeping tracker. Great notifications from phone. Very light and comfy.

This Garmin has been helpful with my training for a marathon. Its battery life is outstanding. I’ve enjoyed the sleep tracking features too.

My husband loved his Garmin! He is getting very good use out of it. He loves the GPS when hunting, he doesn’t need his phone out. He also loves that it gives him feedback on his sleep and heart.

This watch is very good for focusing on your workouts. I really enjoy how focused it keeps you apart from the outside world distractions. One of the great things about this watch is that you will only hav to charge it once and it maintains its battery life for almost tone week!!! I also appreciate the accuracy of the GPS tracking and how accurately it tracks your steps and your workout goals. If you purchase this watch you wont regret it.

I got the watch as a surprise for my birthday!!! Great watch for the task needed for training and review my progress. Its easy to use learn the functions and review with exact processtion needed for goal to train as a new runner for my 10k and soon a marathon.

First Garmin watch I've owned as I've been steadily increasing runs, hiking, etc. Being 52, this watch is perfect for tracking those. There are so many features on this watch that I've yet to explore. Fits great, light weight, bright screen and many customizable watch faces. Also, the data fields on the face... fantastic for a quick view.

I had the first generation of the Samsung Watch when it first came out. I had an early Garmin watch, too. This watch was $212 after tax. Compared to those watches is like comparing a flip phone to a current model. The features, app and ease of use are ridiculous. I wish I had bought it earlier. It makes me want to swim/bike/run more and harder, now that I have it.

This watch is perfect for my needs. I run about 3 times per week and got the watch to program my pace during outside runs. It took about a week to learn the watch but it is working great. I used this to replace a fitbit. Very satisfied with the purchase, don't think I needed the 265 and I don't feel like I'm missing anything.

The battery charges super fast. It measures sleep quality, recovery time after exercise, necessary water intake, and extreme cardiac damage based on intensity. Excellent cost-benefit ratio.

This watch is a great buy for anyone wanting to get into health tracking while training. The watch is comfortable, and has pretty accurate readings for steps, heartrate, etc. The water resistance of the watch also allows me to swim or shower with the watch on which is a nice plus. The battery life is incredible, lasting almost an entire week on a full charge. The charge time from single digits back to 100% is very quick as well. Highly recommend for anyone getting into fitness and looking for a nice entry watch!

Brilliant watch for runners. Switched from 6 years of using Fitbit and couldn't recommend more. Highlights include running GPS map, great battery life and AMOLED screen.

After multiple marathons, half marathons and countless other running events, I finally caved and got a Garmin watch. So far, the watch makes tracking my runs easier and I could connect it to the app I’ve been using all these years so I can compare times. I opted for a lower cost Garmin, because I wasn’t convinced I’d wear it. But this watch really has everything I need, and I’m intrigued by all the stats reported so I’m wearing it! And it’s made me better at answering my phone since it alerts me when my always-on-silent phone is ringing.

I love it, it works perfectly and il the battery life is really good
