What I love most about this running watch is how accurate it is at monitoring your heart rate. When training for a marathon, it is important that I be aware of my heart rate because I am wanting to strengthen my heart muscle for endurance.

I bought this watch as a gifts for my wife. She loves the watch and the app.

This is my 2nd Garmin. Very easy to use. Use it mainly when riding my bike but also has other settings for running. I usually attach it to my handle bars to I can easily see it while riding.

I've done many miles with this watch, and it holds up very well. Battery life is excellent - it survives on standby being forgotten in my running bag for 10 days or so, and can last through 2 full days of skiing with GPS on.

Love the watch !! I will use it when I run the NYC marathon next year

Got this Garmin at a great price. The Forerunner 235 has served me well so far. I use a chest HR strap for accurate heart rate data. Easy to use and upload your runs to Garmin Connect. No complaints.

This is a great product for people who are very active and want to keep track of their activity. It is very durable. The battery can last a long while, and it is also very fashionable with all green/teal colors.

I’ve had this watch for about a month. I really love it so far. The buttons are much easier to use as opposed to the bezel I had on my previous forerunner. I’d recommend this watch for anyone.

It's a great Running watch. Gps is accurate, heart rate monitor is accurate, and I love making custom running workouts. Only con is I can't use it to lift weights because the button presses in when lifting weights and stops data recording.

Not a touch screen. Hard to navigate the different apps. Everything has to go thru the side buttons. Ended up returning to store

Not the most feature loaded, but what do you expect for the price. Excellent for tracking runs and monitoring your running progress. No great options for tracking swims. If you want swimming, get the 245.

The watch definitely amazing but I’m not into running like that.

I bought this to replace another garmin product I used to keep my runnings info. Very friendly and easy to use. GPS connects quickly and the wrist monitor eliminates the old chest body sensors.

Purchased this to replace my Forerunner 35. Much easier to sync and set up. Been using for about 3 weeks. Enjoying it so far. Only issue is that the screen is very dark and difficult to read.

Prior to buying this watch, i would run with a clunky cell phone in my pocket to keep track of my runs. Now, im able to enjoy my runs much more without the phone weighing me down. For the price, it does exactly what i need it to do. Ive connected the watch to the garmin phone app, so now after each run i get to review the details of my runs and see them plotted out on google maps, Im not a tech-guy per say, so i do not mind that this may be considered "dated" technology. I dont need touch screen features to get the job done. If you are tech minded, you may want to spend the extra few dollars for a newer model. Otherwise this watch will do the trick.

I have been running consistently for awhile and was at the point where I needed a more advanced watch for training. People I run with have the Garmin 235 or 9"" and they swear by it. I was looking at the Polar M430. On the Polar there are 6 sensor for the heart rate & you can't change bands, but polar is known for accuracy. A chest strap is the most accurate way to get heart rate so I went with the Garmin and its 3 sensors figuring I would get the chest strap as I get more serious. I like that you can change the bands, I like the interface on the computer (their metrics are great). I do get a little frustrated because it is not as intuitive to use as I would hope and I do notice others struggling with the same thing. That is the reason it is 4 instead of 5 stars...and the three sensors.

Cost effective over competitors similar products. Recommend.

Easy to use battery last long and helps track everything from not just a run to the heart rate but sleeping and even add water tracking on jow hyrdated you stay greatly recomended

This is an amazing running watch! I am a beginner and am working on speed! This has been the perfect watch to help out and has been great at tracking my heart rate! It gives me the motivational push to keep running!!

A great watch and easy to set up and use. A very good buy.
