This exercise watch is highly recommended by Consumer Reports. I wear a Polar chest strap also which is very accurate. When comparing my BPM, I've noticed the watch is sometimes higher when running and lower when walking. The menus are very easy to navigate and the watch is comfortable but must be firmly strapped to get any readings.

Great for inputting and completing running workouts pacee on pace, distance, time, etc. Elements and repeats can be mixed. The only shortcoming is that the wrist heart rate monitor pick up my cadence as heartbeat and therefore does not work as well as my FR35. However, original HR chest strap links easily and works well, even more accurate than FR35. Would be 4.5 stars if available.

This is my first GPS watch and I’m pleased with it. For the price it’s great, not a ton of features, just the ones you need. I will say the heart rate monitor can be a crazy sometimes, I would not buy this for the heart rate monitor. Get a chest strap and just turn the one on the watch off, you will save lots of battery this way.

Garmin watches are the best for tracking my exercise.

The garmin 235 is an awesome fitness tracker. The battery life is amazing. Very reliable.

My old refurbished Garmin finally bit the dust for good so I needed a replacement for running. After doing some research, I decided on a big upgrade and opted for the Forerunner 235. This is a great tool for tracking distance and heart rate, and even steps if that's what you want. You can sync it with your smart phone too so you can get text messages and email notifications and previews. Highly recommended.

Good for running outdoors. It stops reading my heart rate when working out at the gym. Its ok when running on the threadmill. Excellent smart features, they work well. Ive had problems where it shuts itself off or it changes to another date and time, its done it twice in two weeks.
