I did a lot of research prior to buying this watch and decided that for what I am doing (running, swimming, marathons, etc) this watch was a step up to what I had before (Fitbit). It’s super easy to configure, syncs with my Iphone perfectly, tracks my pace in laps and miles, waterproof to swim with, comfortable to wear and tracks my activity/routes with GPS. I’m still learning with this watch because there is so many features to it. I also love the band color!! I had to wait a little longer to receive it but it is a minty color and exactly what the picture looks like. Also, ladies if you’re worried about the face of the watch being too big on your wrist don’t be! It’s athletic looking and fits perfectly around my wrist. Doesn’t get in the way or anything! Great buy!

I spent several months reading research on activity trackers and gps running watches. I asked friends that had smart watches what they liked about their watch. The Choice came down to the Apple Watch, Garmin vivoactive, and the Garmin forerunner 235. The forerunner seemed to have the best accuracy and connected to gps quickest. It’s lightweight, easy to use, easy to setup, and feels/fits great on wrist for daily use. I did purchase the 2 year warranty just to be safe and so I could wear it through any activities without worrying. I also purchased a screen protector to keep the watch face free from scratches. I leave it connected to Bluetooth at all times to sync and get all phone alerts. Very very happy with this watch and love how the app is set up. Easy to customize the style and functions.

The Garmin 235, in particular, with its heart rate monitoring capability really is the best watch of its kind on the market right now. We read the reviews and have had 2 previous generations of Garmin watches. This is far lighter, easier to use, easier to see than anything we've know and loved before.

Exactly what I need to know if I'm getting my steps in. Easy to use for tracking runs. Battery lasts on average more than a week, even after daily runs. I give it a quick wash while I shower to keep it clean.

Love this watch. Easy to use. Great for running and training. Vo2 max is fairly accurate. Definitely feel fitter as my vo2 max increases. Only downfall is the discrepancy on the treadmill paces when running faster than 8 minute pace.

Love the features on the 235 compared to the 220 I replaced. It has heart rate monitor, steps, and is so easy to use.

This is one of the best things I have ever bought for running and helping with fitness goals. The options are amazing, easy to use with the phone and computer. My brother has another model and he also has great things to say about Garmin. This is one of the things that define me, who I am and what I do.

Includes all the features I was looking for in a running watch. It took a bit of time to get used to how to use various features, and I suspect there are still a number that I haven't tested. Overall, easy to use for the basic functionalities.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my son. He runs track at his school and enjoys the GPS / distance tracker so he can time his runs & distance. Functions were easy enough for him to figure out how to work within a day. The "move" reminder actually seems to motivate him.

After high school I took a break from running, now a few years later, the stats and GPS features of this watch are perfect to help me ease back into it as it is concise and not overwhelming. Easy to use!

This is my 2nd Garmin. Very easy to use. Use it mainly when riding my bike but also has other settings for running. I usually attach it to my handle bars to I can easily see it while riding.

Got this Garmin at a great price. The Forerunner 235 has served me well so far. I use a chest HR strap for accurate heart rate data. Easy to use and upload your runs to Garmin Connect. No complaints.
