    Running watch and more!

I love this watch! The best part is not having to wear a chest strap to track my heart rate. I run 3+ times a week and cross train 3 times a week and use my watch to track all of my workouts. You can set it up for interval training and it also has settings for running indoors, biking outdoors and indoors. I use the other setting for cross training. It's very comfortable. I thought it would seem big at first but I have no problem wearing it. It's very light. The gps syncs up really fast and as long as it is tracking your heart rate before you start your workout it is pretty accurate. If you start your workout without your heart rate recognized, it normally won't pick it up. The only issue I've had is that occasionally when I interval train it doesn't track my heart rate accurately. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know if I'm moving too much but I'll be totally out of breath and it says my heart rate is 80 or 90 bpm. It will eventually find it, but for a while I know it isn't right.

I am taking up triathlons and this watch is great for tracking my training. I like that it uses GPS so I can see my routes and I get my phones notifications on it too. If you are looking for a good watch for running, biking, swimming, or all of them I would definitely suggest this one.

Love the Forerunner 235. GPS connects quickly, and is accurate. Battery seems pretty long lasting when not in GPS mode. Love that the HRM is part of the watch, and not a chest strap. Easy to use. Only problem is that it is very big on small wrists, and the optic sensor is uncomfortable against my wrist bones. But if I wear the face against my inner wrist, it is fine. Love the fount of information that is at my fingertips.

I am a 30-40 mile per week runner training for my 2nd Marathon and I was looking for a Running Watch with GPS, Heart Rate monitor, and great battery life. This watch is perfect for me! It provides all the basic functions you expect with decent battery life. I don't utilize the phone notifications much, but it is nice to know who is texting you while running. I would highly recommend this watch to any runner.

I got this Garmin to replace my old Forerunner 225 that was dying (took forever to get GPS sync). This model is a bit more streamlined, has easy-to-read display and the wrist-based HR function seems to be as accurate as the old chest strap of the old model. I like the battery life and the GPS sync is super fast, so I'm pretty happy with this overall.

Battery life, GPS accuracy and lock time, Heart Rate monitor and last but not the least Garmin Connect App is great. I can get away with one charge for the entire week that includes 3 5k run tracking. Smart notifications are basic, has lot of room for improvement - but that is not what I bought this for

This is my second Garmin. I really like the GPS and pace tracker. I like the built in heart rate monitor. I wish it had a traditional stop watch. It's still a bit troublesome to navigate some of the features.

Love the Forerunner 235. It's got all the features you need in a running watch (HRM, GPS, VO2 max) as well as some great "smart watch" features such as notification mirroring. The battery last for ~4 days with daily workouts and Bluetooth enabled. I highly recommed this watch but will say newer models 7xx and 9xx series offer a few more features for not too much more money. My only gripe with the 235 is the plastic construction. It definitely does not feel cheap and I have yet to have any breakage issues but I can't help be wary with something that gets knocked around as much as a watch.

If you're looking for a general fitness band, you're better off with a Fitbit or Apple Watch. But if you're serious about running or biking, this is the watch to get. The battery life is phenomenal, the GPS is more accurate than that of my iPhone 7, and you can use the watch even with sweaty hands (because it is not a touchscreen). You can even link your Garmin account with Strava if you prefer to have your data there. My one recommendation is to get a screen protector, as I think the screen is plastic. I found a good tempered glass one on Amazon for around $15.

For the price it’s a great smart watch overall. It’s comfortable and lightweight, the functionality and GPS work well, and it’s surprisingly durable for being all plastic. I’m not a fan of the os or the Garmin IQ process that you have to use for watch faces and all that. There’s a fine line between well priced and cheap though, and if you’re not easily impressed, I would recommend getting a higher model.

Before I switched to the Garmin 6x Pro Solar, this watch got me through my training runs. This was a step up from the Forerunner 225, which lasted years for me. The 235 provides heart rate, steps, gps, setting training and intervals, other miscellaneous workouts, and tracking training runs on Garmin Connect. Is a great watch for runners, walkers, and other fitness enthusiasts.

This is the perfect running watch. GPS is very accurate with pacing data screens to choose. Long battery life...quick easy charging. Has Garmin connect app to download workouts with detail. Sleek design...easy to whip off! This is not a touch screen watch but awesome none the less. Highly recommend. Best Buy had this watch for a great price!

I have been using the Garmin Forerunner for many years and have always loved them. I had to upgrade to the 235 this year since the 230 is no longer available. I love the added heart rate feature. I really like the frost blue color but I would have loved to get my purple color back (from the 230). Many features to use with runs! Easy to access GPS!

Automatically syncs to the app on my phone. Display easy to read while running. I can toggle between screens for overall run information, or to another screen for lap information. Pretty accurate heart rate monitor. Very quickly syncs to GPS signal. Overall, outstanding for running.

This running watch can also double as a daily activity tracker. The GPS is fast on the uptake, and unlike some other trackers, does not require me to carry my phone when using it. Also, the GPS is more accurate than many models I've tried, and super-fast in locating satellites for positioning. You can get heart-rate readings without a chest strap, too!

This is a great upgrade from my previous Garmin watch. It picks up the GPS quickly, usually before I step outside for my run, bike, or walk. I like that it syncs with my iPhone and tracks my sleep. I purchased this watch when it was discounted by $100 for Christmas. Great deal.
