I had high hopes that I finally would have a good tracker for my running. The GPS was great!! But the dimness of the screen was awful. I had to use my phone at times to light up the watchface to read it. It’s very deceptive from marking, they show a bright colorful screen, it is not!! The heart rate monitor was all over the place too. I was running almost full steam and it never went over 111 but my Fitbit and Apple Watch both said 165. I’ve heard there are more expensive models that are better but this one just didn’t cut it for me. I gave it 3 stars because it was comfortable, and the GPS worked great.

Not a touch screen. Hard to navigate the different apps. Everything has to go thru the side buttons. Ended up returning to store

I purchased this watch along with the Fenix 5s to see if price made a difference and it certainly does. The Forerunner was very cheesy feeling, all plastic and I felt that for the price it could be made better. I returned this and stuck with the Fenix since I plan to wear the watch all the time. The features on the Forerunner work well (was told by a few friends who have them) but I prefer the look and feel of the Fenix. Would recommend if you don't plan to wear all day everyday and just want the features of a running watch.

I thought this would be an amazing runner watch and it probably is but I ended up returning because the screen was waaayyy to dark. not user if it was just the watch I or not but it was way to hard to see. I tried everything to get it brighter but nothing worked. The only time I could see it was inside, the sun made it hard to see.

Time sets automatically by gps location. Week after the watch set it self to correct time after giving it to my son the time changed to the wrong time. We eventually had to turn off the auto set feature to get the watch to display the correct time. But charge last the 9 days it stated.

Very easy to use. Tracks my steps well but not completely accurate. Moving arm also triggers steps.

I have had several Garmin wearables and I loved them. I couldn’t get into this one though. The process to get to settings and screens was too troublesome, not easy to navigate. The display quality is great though. I returned it.

Within a month of using the watch I woke up one day and notice the screen had cracked. I have no clue how this could have happened. I work a desk job and did not do any activity that would be rough on the watch. After trying unsuccessfully to submit a claim online (site is not user friendly) I finally called garmin. They said it is not covered under warrenty and offered to fix it for a $50 fee. The features of the watch are great but the low quality of the screen, lack of battery life (2-3 days) and non user friendly software and support it is not worth the price of the watch.

Not the best designed watch but does what it's supposed to! Many other cheaper watches have nicer interfaces!!

I am tec.. inept so I had trouble with setup. It took several trips to store b4 I got it right.

Heart rate monitor is fairly accurate. Not as precise as the chest HR monitor, but reliable for training.

So I bought this watch and the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro. I then went for a run and they were both the same on the distance, with the Gear Fit 2 Pro having a better looking screen and better features in my opinion. However this watch is so easy to read in the sun. In my opinion it is a nice watch but there are other options that are just as good with glass screens and nicer looking displays.

Band is comfortable. Battery lasts for days. Great for running

Personally this isn't a very user friendly watch. Works fine, but the toggling between different buttons is very confusing. I feel it could be made more simple. Im sure it just takes a getting used to. Otherwise is works fine and does what it needs too.

I like all of the things the Garmin is capable of doing especially after coming from a Fitbit HR however, the sensor is very temperamental and that's extremely frustrating when running and it goes blank or is obviously reading incorrectly. I'm running full speed and it's registering a walk pace. I may be switching to Apple Watch.

I bought this as a replacement for my last garmin watch (lost in lake). While it does basic run features most others have to be downloaded. I constantly hit the buttons and it'll start and stop itself. not as user friendly as I would have expected and over all kinda wish I had chosen a different model

I bought this to replace my Apple Watch as my running watch. As a running watch it worked well however using it the other 23 hours a day were a nightmare. It froze twice in three days and I had to totally reset it and reconnect it to my phone. It also would constantly tell me the incorrect time.
