This item battery last a long time. I needed something for long runs and this watch does last.

Battery life on the Garvin last a week or more. Does disconnect at times, has customized watch faces. Does keep accurate track of steps.

I'm still in the beginner stages of running but love the Forerunner 235 and use it as a tool to monitor my distance and pace. I also use the daily step tracking to get myself up and moving frequently throughout the day and enjoy pushing to reach the daily step count goal. I had the Forerunner 225 prior but wanted the 235's ability to download additional screens and apps. I did scratch the screen shortly after purchase though, not certain how, so I would recommend a protector. Other than the soft face I really enjoy this watch/unit every day.

Has a lot of great features. The price point is right as well. Easily syncs with i phone and other apps

I really liked this watch when I first bought it. The GPS is great and I like the various readings you get during a workout. The display isn't the most user friendly, but you can download new faces with different setups which is nice. The HR monitor was initially pretty good, though was occasionally inaccurate which is expected with a wrist sensor. However, after owning it for only about 4 months I started to notice the HR sensor become less accurate and it's only gotten worse. Now it's more often horribly wrong that it is even close to being right. It will often get stuck on one HR for my entire workout, or drop a HR reading intermittently throughout. When it does seem to respond to my HR it's not accurate. For example, the other day it read 88bpm but my HR was actually 144bpm. Then another time it read 138bmp and my HR was 68bpm. This has continued throughout my workouts. Very disappointing to pay this money when a main feature seems to malfunction after only a few months of use.

I like the GPS function of the watch and its band hugs the wrist well as to keep it in place and still be comfortable

Bets training watch ive ever worn. Very easy to use even for a novice runner like me!!! You won't be disappointed with this purchase at all.

Son uses watch to complete long runs. Sweat does not affect this watch. Lightweight in the wrist

used to have a vivofit2 so this is definitely an improvement. Don't like that the battery needs to be recharged within 7 days. I must not have the right settings yet because I need to recharge within 5. Plus for some reason it has restarted on its own twice. Additionally, I have no idea how it really tracks sleep but it doesn't seem accurate. However, I bought it to tracks steps and distance mainly and that has been working fine so far

Easy to use and navigate when running , connect it cell via Bluetooth and you can get alerts for msgs and calls.

This is a good entry line watch and have had pretty good success with the heart rate monitor. works good for everyday use as well.

Great heart rate monitor and gps watch. I wore for a week and the functionality was fantastic, easy to read, etc. I wound up returning it, though, because the face was so big and though it was appropriately feminine for athletic purposes, it did not work to wear throughout the day with regular casual clothing. I replaced it with an Apple Watch that was smaller and had more athletic functions than run, bike, and other. I loved it and if this was just for running I would have kept!

Use for mountain biking and tracks great. I've tried the Gear Sport, Fitbit, and a few others and returned to this watch.

Love that there is a long lasting battery. I read reviews before purchasing and was still AMAZED at how long the battery has lasted me.

I've been a runner for about 5 years now. I always track my runs, miles and miles on my shoes. Especially on the nike plus app. Simple because numbers don't lie. This watch does everything and more than what I need. Love the wrist heart rate monitor. I do a lot of treadmill running. And it tracks that too. It's about a tenth of a mile off. But so was my shoe pod. So it's comparable. I haven't used it outside yet but I'm sure because it's a garmin it won't have any issues. This is my favorite watch I've ever owned.

This garmin is the best, had to upgrade, just ran a 50k and the battery wasn't @ half, great choice of features on it.

Amazing GPS watch! Battery life last about 4 days and I use it everyday on my runs.
