I have bought several Garmin products because of their durability.

After a year of the Apple Watch, I finally made the realization Garmin made this watch and I have not looked back. The Apple Watch was a fine device but did not suit my running needs and I barely used any of its extended functions. The Garmin offers all of the running metrics and functionality you expect and provides you with the smart watch notifications an Apple Watch user grew used to. I couldn't be happier with the switch.

I bought it more for the heart rate and I got so much more. I'm so glad I got this watch. Works great

Purchased for my husband who has just started running. He loves it!

This exercise watch is highly recommended by Consumer Reports. I wear a Polar chest strap also which is very accurate. When comparing my BPM, I've noticed the watch is sometimes higher when running and lower when walking. The menus are very easy to navigate and the watch is comfortable but must be firmly strapped to get any readings.

This garmin forerunner is replacing my previous garmin. Got this one for the heart rate monitor.

It's a great watch for tracking your goals. Works great on the run. Garmin did good with this one.

This is my first GPS watch and I’m pleased with it. For the price it’s great, not a ton of features, just the ones you need. I will say the heart rate monitor can be a crazy sometimes, I would not buy this for the heart rate monitor. Get a chest strap and just turn the one on the watch off, you will save lots of battery this way.

first garmin watch, good price, heavy duty yet very slick design.

Great for inputting and completing running workouts pacee on pace, distance, time, etc. Elements and repeats can be mixed. The only shortcoming is that the wrist heart rate monitor pick up my cadence as heartbeat and therefore does not work as well as my FR35. However, original HR chest strap links easily and works well, even more accurate than FR35. Would be 4.5 stars if available.

My experience with Garmin products is excellent however this watch is an exception. For me it does not seem user friendly and I don't use it for that reason. I don't feel it's fair to rate it low, as it does work but always defaults back and does not stay as I would like to have it set up with heart rate and time of day.

Overall a great watch for running and tracking your activities. No complaints about the product itself. GPS routing can sometimes be spotty (i.e. post-run map shows running from side-to-side of street), or mid-run live paces are off (actual mile split paces are correct) - but this may be due to adjacent buildings/actual GPS.

Loves this watch. It is best for running and holds good charge.

Love my watch. Tracks steps, runs, biking and more. Wrist heart rate monitor works great.
