It was the first watch I own to sync with the app and it works great for activities and heartrate. However, it is not consistent with weather and calendar. Those features were not why I bought the watch, but it would be better if it worked.

It saves all data, it has GPS, weather, Bluetooth notifications, heart rate, steps, and it’s perfect for sleep tracking. In settings you can choose your preferred distance tracking (KM or MI) or Distance or laps. Get this watch!

After my routine, it is a HAPPY PLACE to review my efforts and to be able to compare with your history on Garmin Connect !!! Very light and the screen size is just the right size. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!!

You can see your pace each mile so you know if you have to move faster in the next mile. You can set goals and it keeps track and lets you know if you are on track. I love using it during a marathon,it keeps you on pace.

The only problem she has with it is the optical heart rate sensor. She feels like it isn’t accurate enough so we got her a chest monitor that pairs with the watch. Other than that the fit and usablity is perfect. The app is great as well!

I used to have a forerunner 210 and this one is much better as I get daily activity , all functions to run, texts, calls, weather. History of previous run and training plans. All synced easily with the my phone and connect.

I like being able to add work outs through the app and then downloading them to the watch. The only reason I give it 4/5 is because I find that the band is a little itchy. But that could just be me.

The Garmin 235 is significantly lighter, easy to use, connection to gps is faster and I love the design. The info transfer to my smart phone is immediate. No ant stick to worry with and the data is almost instantly available to review your activity. Love this watch!
