Pretty clunky product that stopped working (wouldn't charge) after three weeks of purchase. Not at all happy with this purchase. So not worth the high price.

    Excellent Watch for Runners

If you are an avid runner and want a watch that can help you track your miles and pace, the Garmin Forerunner 235 might be just what you need. The Forerunner 235 serves its purpose perfectly. It accurately tracks the time, distance, and pace of your run or bike ride. This watch is also nice if you want to be accountable for increasing your daily activity. It records your steps, heart rate, and personal records. The watch also has a mode that will buzz when you’ve been inactive for over an hour or two. One thing to be aware of with the Forerunner 235 is that the GPS sometimes takes a while before it connects. An easy way to avoid this issue is to press the activity button with ample time before you begin your run or bike ride. The Forerunner 235 has a comfortable band that can adjust to any wrist size. The band has many holes throughout that not only help the watch to fit just right, but also make it breathable during a sweaty workout. This watch also holds a charge a long time and charges quickly. When the Bluetooth isn’t turned on, the Forerunner 235 can go about a week without being charged. Once plugged in, it is fully charged in under an hour. When the Bluetooth is on, the Forerunner can go about two days before it needs to be charged, since Bluetooth allows the watch to receive notifications from your phone. This watch is reliable, durable, and easy to use. Overall, the Garmin Forerunner 235 is a 5-star product recommended for any runner or anyone who wants to track their physical activity.

    Overall good watch

I had a FitBit for a couple years and didn't like out it felt wearing it and the smaller screen. I am a new runner and wanted something that tracked running a little better and was easier to read. I felt this would be a good choice for the price. However, I think it's a little overpriced. I feel that a $249 would be a better price range for this watch. With that said, I do not regret paying the $299 for it. Very happy with it. Easy to setup and use, no problems at all with it and you can download apps and different watch faces for it using the Garmin connect app. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is not as bright as I would like. Don't let the online pictures fool you, it is not as bright and vivid colors as it looks in the pictures. I wish it had an option to adjust the brightness. I personally just like a bright screen. However, you can still see it just fine and easy to see in daylight. The back light works fine for night time. Overall I am happy I upgraded to this watch.

If you run this is the watch for you. I looked at the Apple Watch, but in the end I thought I would go with the company that has been doing this forever. The battery lasts for days, and I don’t have to wear a heart strap to monitor my heart rate. It’s easy to read, and monitors your pace, miles run and time. The only issue is the band that caused a rash. I was wearing it 24/7, but took I it off at night and the rash has seemed to get better. Garmin is sending me new band also.

This watch is a little pricey but if you can catch it on sale, it is well worth it. After struggling with an Apple Watch Series 1 for over a year without GPS this watch was a welcome relief. Charge, put in settings, GO! GPS worked right away and is spot on in accuracy.

I've had the forerunner 235 since Jan 2016, and has been very pleased with it. I mostly use it for cycling and cardio...user friendly, accessible function keys, easily syncs with my garmin edge when cycling. HR sensor is a few seconds delayed, but is reliable when using it for trends. Overall, satisfied with it compared to the Fitbit charge.

This is an amazing upgrade from the Fitbit Surge. I love the fact that it's water resistant meaning I can shower and swim with it and I don't have to worry about the dreaded rash that I'd get from the surge. Easy to use and with my small wrist, it fits just right!!

this watch has a lot of potential because of the many features it offers but doesn't quite deliver. the screen is advertised as bright but is very dim and the one i got had light bleeding at the bottom. my iphone showed i was connected to the watch but the garmin app and watch said i was not. very confusing menu system. really only usefull for runners, cant track any other activities as well

I have had this watch now for just over 3 months and I love it. The main reason I purchased it over other fitness tracker so a for the build in GPS and accuracy. Top notch for tracking my running and fitness. The everyday features outside of workouts has been something that I have learned to use and has been very helpful in having. Overall I'm am satisfied and impressed with Garmin. I have owned other fitness trackers and watches and this one so far is the best!
