Great activity watch for running and cycling and it even tells time.

I’ve been running with FR 235 for years and thought would be a good time for an upgrade. After reviewing all higher Garmin models I decided to stay with FR 245 and no regrets. I love the new options/features with Trail Run and the Pulse OX. I’ve been using with the Dynamics Pod and still learning about all the extra running data. Excellent running watch.

Had the Garmin 235, this is a big improvement with a lot of awesome features.

Solid watch. Long battery life with a lot of great features. Some issues with the body battery though. Inconsistent.

Not a big fan off interface. After using Samsung watch this feels outdated.

Good fitness tracker but it takes a little getting used to. The buttons are a bit confusing at first so you should play around with it a lot when you first get it. Trying to figure it out while you're doing an activity isn't the right time. The app that comes with it is easy to use and provides a lot of information. The more you input the better it is. The sleep monitor works well and so does the heartrate monitor.

Even I ended up returning the item, I recognize it’s a great piece of tech. For runners, it’s one pf the moat affordable of the new generation of Garmin FR. Coming from the FR230, i noticed the difference in performance and extras. Unfortunately, I found the watch too small for me. It would have been awesome if they had a 45mm version.

I've been using a Garmin 235 for running and swimming for the past year and recently decided to get the 245 and give my 235 to my wife. I couldn't be happier with the switch. I run 5-12 miles everyday and never notice the watch. My only complaint is the standard wristband that comes with the watch but I've already ordered a replacement.

i love it. i wear it everyday. you can change the watch face to suit your training needs. my only criticism is although it tracks your sleep and heart rate giving you numbers. it doesn't baseline those numbers to tell you whats a good or acceptable zone to be in. so they are just numbers.

Nice watch...I found the size alittle small for my wrist...wished it had come in different sized faces.

Good watch. Works as advertised and it is easy to use

My daughter has used this watch for training and during official races. We couldn’t be happier with the tracking of statistics and the mapping function of the map. The watch has been durable and has functioned just as advertised. I am now thinking of getting one for me too. I would buy again.
