This is designed for those looking to watch thier cardio. If you are wanting to view your text messages and reply and make phone calls get a smart watch. This is accurate, battery last several days, almost a week and it's ok if it gets wet. Your texts will pop up but that's not its primary function.

Easy to read, functionality is simple to use, and looks good too.

Good basic watch. The lack of a customizable interface is disappointing, but the simplicity of it does make for a longer battery life. This watch only tracks cardio activities - running, biking, etc, so won't be much good for yogis or weightlifters. The watch does a lot more than it looks like - there are submenus, and each button has a different function based on whether you hold the button down or short press it, so there can be a bit of a learning curve.

Bought this because it has its own GPS. Bought it for my teenage son. This allows him to track his run without having to bring his smart phone. Takes a few minutes for the GPS to locate you. Easy to use and connect with app. Great value

Excellent battery life and ease of use for a GPS watch. Updates automatically to Garmin and Strava. A simple to use GPS watch. I have had other Garmin GPS watches that have more features but this gives the basic and is water proof. Also serves as a watch.

Really like the built in heart rate monitor, no need for the chest strap. GPS map produced in outdoor run mode matched the map and distance the map my run app on my phone produced.

I am one month into this as an owner: the watch fits well, the band is more friendly than most others, I like the very quick GPS connections , and the display readability. What I miss is touch although buttons are OK, some color and the fact that I can't figure out if I can get time of day on my running or walking screen

This is an attractive fitness device with wide functionality, a detailed online interface, and a long-lasting battery (I've been getting up to 7 days). On the downside, GPS takes a long time to load and the heart rate monitor while accurate at rest, often measures much too high or low during moderate exercise.

This watch is good for getting messages, tracking your steps ,receiving incoming calls ,swimming and running.

This watch is a great tool for serious runners. The ability to log runs is a big plus.

Have been using it for a few months - does what I need time pace heart rate and gps. Things I would like - better support and instructions, more sports eg cross country skiing and perhaps better graphics - my wife’s Samsung has way better graphics - but in reality do I need that when running ??

My wife mainly uses this for steps and normal time functions. Battery is holding up extremely well and much longer than expected, probably due to limited functions being tracked. Either way, very satisfied with the product.

I bought this for my husband who wanted to start training for a marathon. He says he loves it because it is comfortable, the GPS starts quickly, and it is easy to sync with the apps he uses. He has had other brands before and loves this watch.

Have very petite wrists and had problems finding an activity tracker that fit. The Forerunner is close but still too uncomfortable to wear sleeping. Wish someone would make a full featured tracker with small wrists in mind.

I like the watch, and all of its features. We had to take the first watch back because it did not count the steps. The second watch is working perfectly. I would highly recommend it for people who want to keep track of the running, steps, and other activities.

I have had a forerunner Garmin for years and decided to upgrade to this years model and I'm so thankful I did. It's smaller for my wrist, lighter, sleeker and has a heart rate monitor. I love it!!!!

Wish it was just a bit more updated and current with other technoolgy in the same price range.

battery lasts forever, easy to use, comfortable band, accurate tracking, easy to use app...do i need to continue? I switched to Garmin from a different brand smart watch and I'm so glad I did!
