I recently purchased this Garmin Forerunner 35 for outdoor running. It's a lesser model than one I had previously. So far I love the product but only wish it displayed current mile pace when running. The average pace fluctuates rather than giving me up to the second adjusted pace. So if say I'm trying to run 6 flat for a mile, I'll start out fast and it says 5:40 pace, then if I hit a slow spot it will drop to 6:25 pace. Once I hit the mile mark it tells me I ran 6:02 pace overall. I'd rather it tell me the entire time my exact pace. Otherwise it's great!

I love this watch for running. Unfortunately it has the only thing I want in a running watch- interval timing so it is absolutely great with that. I don't see any issues with this (3 now for the family). I don't like that I can't see my HR with the interval timer. You have to stop one to see the other (though I may be Garmin illiterate). Other than that, really great and I will buy the next one as well as my Galaxy Active 2 watch doesn't have the interval feature built in.

In general watch is comfortable and battery life has not been an issue. Would desire the watch to interface with additional apps.

Bought this for my wife. It’s much better than the Fitbit Charge 3 and has more features than I think she’ll ever use but GPS is the only way to go.

Very easy to set up and use. Can use in shower and pool. I only take it off for charging. Had an older vivofit tracker that I never had to charge. That’s why the forunner only gets 4 stars.

Does all the things I need it to do. The step counter seems to be really accurate.the battery last about a week between charges. I’m happy with this product.

Works perfectly with my android phone. Easy to work watch and the app is super friendly. Perfect for running, walking, or swimming.

bought this for my son whondoes cross country and has been instrumemtal to him getting better and tracking his run times

Good: Large easy to read face. Easy to understand workout options. Nice GPS tracking on hikes Not so good: Heart rate monitor. Not as accurate as I had hoped.

I needed to replace a Forerunner 10 and I got the Forerunner 35. It is a great replacement. Comes with heart rate and Bluetooth and able to connect to ANT+ devices.

Excellent Quality Watch. Bought this for my son that runs track. He loves it and it makes him practice more, that's cool. Receives text too.

Have only used it twice but the heart rate monitor was spot on! Fairly easy to use. Very good it has its own GPS and does not have to connect to phone.

I wanted a basic watch with a wrist based heart rate monitor and after checking reviews purchased the Forerunner 35. I really like the screen when I'm running that shows mileage, time and average pace for that mile. That's all I really wanted to know when running so I have all I need with a large screen that's easily visible and really light weight. The Garmin Connect app for my phone is not that user friendly to me but I do get all the info I need like pace for each mile plus average heart rate and max heart rate. If this is all the info you need, this maybe the watch for you.

i bought this product because my sons doctor recommended it to improve this running, my son is in cross country and track, and so far its been worth it

Love it.... not complicated..... fairly good battery life.... easy to charge..... easy learning curve. Another great Garmin product!

I don’t need all the fancy characteristics. This is just exactly what I need. It works better than expectation.

This watch is good. It works perfect with android but is not that great with iPhones. One complaint I had was that it doesn’t have a stopwatch but I still love it.

I bought this for my 12 year old son who uses it for track and cycling. It replaced his trusty 1st Gen Pebble. GPS functionality is great and quick to get a signal but can be slow with tree cover but keeps it well once locked so get a lock under clear sky before setting out. It could use a dedicated stopwatch but you can use an indoor exercise profile and just don't save it as a workout. On small wrists, the end and middle of the strap flap around and leaves quite a lot of slack but we used a small band to secure it in the middle and no longer an issue. The Garmin app is very good and cloud stored data (with lots of detail) is a bonus.
