I bought for my husband because he’s into fitness and wanted something to do more than what the Apple and Fitbit and all these other watches do. The rep at the store advised me to get this and I have no regrets.

Got this watch for my wife. She likes it alot. the only complaint is it doesnt accurately track her sleep. My garmin does fine with sleep tracking to take it with a grain of salt

Great watch for the price. My husband works outside so I didn’t want to pay alot of money for a smart watch that I know will get destroyed. This watch is extremely durable and gives great feedback on your day.

I finally got to set up and use this watch. I had a garmin 15. This watch is so much better. It has settings for running, walking. biking, and treadmill. which I need the walking and treadmill tracking. I love this watch.

Great watch and keeps the same distance calculation as my apple watch. Only four stars because it takes a while to sync up and the gps to register.

it is a basic watch. if you are looking for ease of use this is not the best one to select. for what i was looking for to be honest i would have rather bought a fitbit

Good value for the money - a little bit confusing to get in and out of modes but once you know how to use it, it's comfortable and works well

Had previous garmin watch that was 8 years old. Thought I needed an update. The buttons will take a little time getting used. Fits my needs as I use it for hiking, walking and running.

The screen was to dull. Lack quality and to much adjustment from previous device.

I actually returned the 45 and upgraded to the 245 (easy exchange at the store). I needed the custom workout features on the garmin connect app and that's not available on the 45. That makes a huge difference for me. The 245 elevates me to fitness geek status. The 245 interface is a serious level up overall. The 45 is plenty serious for tracking running if that's mostly all you're going to do with it.

Got this watch for my son's birthday, he really enjoys all the features of the watch. He is a runner and likes to see his route and split times after his run.

Third watch. Downgraded to this one since 2 other just froze. It is not at tough looking as previous one. Let’s see how it does…

I really wanted to love this watch but I couldn't get over the fact that for a $200 watch, the visibility was horrible. It was so dim and no way of adjusting the brightness. Even with the backlight, horrible. Garmin is my watch of choice, I have a forerunner 35 and wanted an upgrade to a more colorful interface. Also, if you like a bigger watch face, this is probably not for you. Returned it less than 24 hours after purchased. Disappointed.

This is a great watch that tracks everything I need and not all the other unnecessary stuff. It can be linked to your phone so if you must see your phone info on it you can.

Solid, durable and very functional. Somehwat limited in the specific activities built in, but you can add those that are not there.

I picked a face that had all the stats on the front screen, no more turning my wrist to see it or swiping pages , The best thing is I can see it in daylight, in the sun,

I liked the watch. Not too many activities options. Watch focus on runners

This watch is what I was looking for. I am really enjoying the workouts planned through the garmin app and the data points that it gives me on my workouts.

Not liking it so far. The screen is very dim. Not even close to the brightness shown in the product images. I Googled to see if anyone else had the same issue and a fix, but all I found were numerous complaints about the dim screen. Some of complaints go back a long time, and they were for this model and others....which makes me wonder why Garmin hasn’t fixed the ongoing issue.

This Garmin forerunner smartwatch is awesome. This is my first Garmin forerunner and I love it.
