Garmin's lowest end GPS smartwatch. Key reason for purchase is because this is constructed almost entirely out of plastic/resin - which is wonderful for someone with metal skin allergies. Looked at the latest Fitbits and other Garmin's and this was the best option. Ended up returning and purchasing Forerunner 45S (smaller watch face) instead.

Solid running watch at this pricepoint

I really like this running watch. It's simple to use, has an accurate GPS and the Garmin Connect app is solid. One note is that if you're actively tracking with GPS during an activity, the longest the battery will last is about 6 hours. If it's just in passive mode, it'll last 4-5 days between charges. Also, the band wore a sore spot into my forearm, but I think that's to be expected with a lot of these devices.

Bought this for my wife who ended up wanting the smaller 45S after about a month. I was going to buy a smart watch but ended up keeping this one for myself. I've been very pleased. After a few days I could easily get to what I wanted to see on the watch. Everything seems to be fairly accurate. I've run the same route weekly and the GPS is consistent. I like the Garmin IQ app that connects to it. It has lots of good information. The watch doesn't have a swimming activity but you can record as cardio and change on the app. I wish that it was a little brighter when lit up. My eyes aren't what they used to be. It is a really good watch for the price point.

I mainly wanted GPS tracking for running and biking, and the ability to receive text messages from my iPhone through bluetooth. This is perfect for that at a reasonable price. it looks stylish enought to always wear it, the face is the right size and there are lots of features selectable with the buttons. The battery life is good. I wish the face had better scratch resistance.

I have recently purchase this watch but here is what I have so far. It does fairly well at measuring distance. Better GPS signal better the watch. It does struggle under the trees. The battery is great. My old watch had to be charged 2 to3 times a day. This watch will hold a charge for 5 days. I would have given it a 5 stars but the GPS loads slow sometimes.

Affordable GPS running watch. Had the 920xt before which was very different. Fairly easy to use. Have to get used to the. Http s and some of the new features. Created a workout on Garmin Connect and it was pretty cool how it is displayed on the watch. Only used it once, but so far I’m happy.

A really nice watch that is performing well. Very little issue syncing with Garmin Express and updating the software. I have little patience with reading through user manuals, and Garmin's usually require a certain amount of wading through a lot of verbiage, so I just started pushing buttons. It takes a little getting used to the sequencing for the different functions, but once you figure it out it's pretty easy. The battery needs to be recharged every couple of days, so once I get better acquainted with it I'll probably revert back to wearing my Casio G-Shock unless I'm heading out for a run.

This is my first smart watch and I received it as a gift. I like it so far especially for the heart rate. I also like the way it fits, and it’s thin band. What I don’t like is that the screen light is to dull. Wish it was a little brighter. Other than that, I’m enjoying my watch.

I got this watch to use to track my walks and jogs and it’s nice so far. The only issue would be the screen seems pretty cheap in person than in the provided pictures. It still works great and I recommend it for someone looking for a fitness tracker.

Good battery life, very good looking smart watch. Didn't realize it doesn't have a touch screen, would greatly help functionality. Instructions not the greatest. Altitude is way off, not a clue how or where to reset.

Bought this and found out if you have tattoos this may not work for you. The reader for the hr will not pick up through the ink. Weird I know. Also the Bluetooth is not great half the time you get a notification from your phone half the time you don’t. As far as GPS and fitness it’s fantastic I just had to switch what arm I had it on!

I've had the watch for about 3 weeks now. The only minor issue I have is that the face isnt too easy to read in normal lighting (great in bright sunlight and fine when the light button is pressed). But this thing has been great at providing what seems to be accurate heart rate, steps, distance info. It has really motivated me to keep pushing toward my goals!

I have been using entry level garmin products for running for many years and have always been pleased with their performance. I recently started incorporating strength training and other types of cardio into my routine and decided to try a new garmin to track these workout. So far it is a hit. It interfaces with the garmin connect app and is a very useful tool.
