Amazing watch for the value!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a watch that feels like it’s cheering you on from your wrist, the Garmin is your new best friend. This thing doesn’t just track your workouts — it practically high‑fives you for doing them. Whether I’m running, hiking, biking, or just pretending I know what “VO₂ max” means, my Garmin keeps up like a champ. The battery lasts so long it feels like it’s powered by pure determination. And the GPS? Laser‑accurate. It’s like having a tiny satellite dedicated just to me. Garmin doesn’t try to be a mini smartphone on your wrist — it’s a performance machine. It’s rugged, reliable, and built for people who actually go outside on purpose. If you want a watch that pushes you to be your best without needing a daily recharge, Garmin is the way to go.

Light in weight and comfort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The dial is larger and more crisp to view than my old Epix pro 2. The forerunner is easier to use when tracking reps for exercising and more sensitive with tracking each one. The weight of the forerunner is so much lighter than the epix, which makes is more comfortable to wear at night for tracking sleep. I have enjoyed the nighttime day review to let you know how much sleep is recommended to restore for the next day. Overall very happy with the update in system and weight and size in comparison to the epix pro.

Garmin
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using my Garmin watch for a few months now, and I’m honestly impressed. The build quality is solid, the battery lasts much longer than I expected, and the tracking accuracy is outstanding — whether I’m running, cycling, or just walking. The GPS connects quickly, the heart rate and sleep tracking are reliable, and I really like how detailed the Garmin Connect app is. It gives me a clear picture of my daily activity and progress. The design is sleek and comfortable to wear all day, even during workouts. Notifications from my phone come through perfectly too. Overall, Garmin really nailed it with this model — a perfect mix of performance, durability, and style. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a serious smartwatch for fitness and everyday use!

Big Time Upgrade over Apple
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always been an Apple watch user (8+ years), but as I have gotten into running more I wanted to give Garmin a chance. I have been using the Garmin- Forerunner 970 for about a month now and I Love it! I have only had to charge it twice over that span whereas the Apple Watch Ultra 2 I was charging basically everyday. Where I was blown away was the functionality and versatility. The Forerunner 970 gives you countless options of customization on the home screen and don't even get me started on the data it can provide. I am still trying to learn all of the data/ tracking it provides in the Garmin- Connect app, but I appreciate the attention to detail provided. Not only is it a step up when it comes to tracking running, cycling and swimming, but it also has a very nice way to track your strength workouts. You can customize your workouts and create your own workouts with sets, reps and rests included (very cool features). All and all I would highly recommend giving Garmin a try, especially the Forerunner 970. - From a former Apple Watch user.

Forerunner 970: Premium Performance, but Pricey
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the Garmin Forerunner 970 for Marathon training. It is super comfortable, has a bright, tough screen, and packs loads of advanced running features. GPS and heart rate tracking are very accurate, and the new training metrics are great for serious athletes. Battery life is shorter than older models, and it’s pricey, but if you want the latest and best in a lightweight watch, it’s a top pick. Highly recommend!

Worth buying
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Garmin Forerunner 970 is a top-tier sports watch built for serious runners and endurance athletes. 2. GPS accuracy, training metrics, and recovery insights are among the best available today. 3. Premium build (titanium, AMOLED, flashlight) makes it feel high-end and durable. 4. Very expensive, and smartwatch features are still weaker than Apple Watch. 5. Best choice if you train seriously; overkill if you just want basic fitness tracking.

Forerunner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the instinct tactic, considerably better. Screen is bright and clear in all settings, runs are tracking well. Very happy with the new flashlight upgrade, getting around 17 days of battery but I do not use GPS mode.

Best bang for the big bucks.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought Forerunner 970 after returning Forerunner 570. If you have the money buy this one over 570. 570 is missing too many features that come on the 970. Only $200 more for the 970. Don't waist your money on 570. Forerunner 970 does it all and is light weight, great battery life and a flashlight. No bainer.

Great watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch with exceptional performance and health features. However with this price range missing things are LTE , passive ecg tracking and many other advance health related features if you compare this with Samsung , Google and Apple watches. With this price it's not about only sports but personal well being tracking should be considered as priority.

Garmin Forerunner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Garmin Forerunner 970 is a top-tier running and triathlon smartwatch that sets a new benchmark for Garmin’s performance lineup. It’s packed with cutting-edge tracking, advanced training tools, mapping, and smart features — ideal if you’re a dedicated athlete seeking every advantage. That said, the premium price and feature complexity mean it’s best suited to serious runners and multisport athletes rather than casual fitness fans.

Best watch ever..
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using it for a month now and have no regrets about it. I use it for running, gym, tennis, padel and flag football. I've hit the watch's screen with the walls and other things and there are no scratches yet. The screen seems to be really hard and durable. I think that the datasheet mentions that the battery can last up to 15 days, but in my case it often deplets up to 35-40% of its full capacity by 1 week. Maybe it's because I use it a lot. No hard feelings about it, tho. Still a great watch. Sleep information is great. I know there are a lot of features that I haven't even discovered! I should get paid for doing these great reviews!
