Just a reliable connection away from goodness.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good: This is a tough watch that is not quite as gargantuan as some of the other “tough” watches out there, and the step tracking works natively with the service my company uses. The altimeter function is nice, once you have it calibrated to a known location. And the Garmin iOS app has a nice look and good functionality. If you like to keep up with your pulse rate it does a pretty good job of that. Battery life is fantastic! Bad: It can be difficult to read at times because the automatic light function doesn’t always work. You have to calibrate the altimeter regularly to keep any sort accuracy. If you are used to a touchscreen interface like the Apple Watch, it can be a bit frustrating to struggle through the menus with the side buttons to make basic changes. The “weather” feature does not keep current information, and you have to get your phone out to look it up. (At that point, why even claim to have weather functionality?) Battery life diminishes greatly if uses GPS. The Ugly: The watch constantly loses connection to the phone. It doesn’t matter if the two are never more than a few feet apart, it drops connection and refuses to reconnect. You can delete the app, reinstall, get all the settings right, and still lose connection in minutes. I would return this watch if I could, but it worked fine enough for the first few weeks to convince me to keep it. Now it looks like it is only good for telling time and being “tough”, so it certainly isn’t worth the money. Conclusion: If you love the looks, want a tough watch but don’t want a G-Shock, and you don’t really care about the “smart” functions, this may be the watch for you. But if you are looking for something tough but with Apple Watch functionality then move along, move along. This is not the watch you are looking for.

A lot of the measurements are not accurate
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro's: it's a durable and stylish smartwatch. The app is easy to use and connects well. Ton's of pre-set workouts and a good amount of customizable fact options. Con's: the temperature reading is always incorrect (always 73 F even in heat wave), the heart rate is hit or miss depending on how its sitting on your wrist (literally rotating by 1 cm will make or break it), and the GPS is relatively accurate but not as accurate as a phone. You're probably better off saving for a higher quality smartwatch.

Heart rate monitor and buttons not responsive
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first, this watch was definitely 5 stars. The smart watch is stylistic if you like the bulky G shock look, and the features are enough for most people. Whether its running, biking, snowboarding, hiking, or swimming, this watch is very customizable to fit any active person. Now, here is why I give it two stars. After a few months, I noticed the heart rate monitor slowly became less and less accurate. Even after cleaning frequently like it says in the manual, the problem continues. Now, after 8 months of use, the buttons are not responsive. For me to have them work, I need to hold the buttons down to trigger the "acquire satellite" mode to reset the buttons. Not ideal for a +$250 watch after 8 months of use.

Looks nice, that's about it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to like it but it is severely lacking in the interface and ease of use. It looks great and has great battery life but this watch is liken more to an old Casio in screen with smart features that require constant phone use to interface with. I can't read my messages easily, can't answer the phone on it, or easily see or read anything. If you are looking for simple and rugged then this might be a good choice but not for someone looking for features. Also extremely inaccurate with steps and sleep recording. Returning.

Not user friendly
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Garmin products...very high quality although this watch for even someone as tech savvy as I am, is hard to figure out. Not user friendly. It was for my husband and I am going to have to read the manual to figure out this watch so I can show him.

Garmin boo
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappoointed! It has lots of great features, and thats awesome but, you cant read anything really on the watch, the buttons are too easily triggered so you constantly have to reset it back to normal. I have had other Garmin products but I am disappointed in this one.

Complicated
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice watch but to complicated if your not a tech person. Only got the watch for my husband as a gift to keep up with tracking his fitness. My husband had a hard time setting up the watch, even watched videos but for him no success.

Battery/ charging after 6 months
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this watch because of the battery lasting for weeks. After 6 months I can't get it to keep a charge. After full charge now it will only last about 1hr.

Very disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this watch to replace a fitbit. Man am I disappointed! It constantly shows my heart rate off! I can be working out full force and it shows heart rate at 60. Can be sitting still and it will show 135. Trying to track distance is just as bad. I know how far something is and it constantly shows a significant lower distance. Defeats the whole purpose of wearing. It also randomly starts some sort of a countdown. So far I like the durability and battery life but that is it.
