I work in remodeling apartments, fixing appliances, plumbing, electrical, etc. So far the screen has no scratches, it has been banged and been through alot and its still looking brand new. I went through 3 fitbits until i finally decided to drop extra money to buy a good durable quality watch. So far i am pleased and happy.

I bought this after my old Garmin Forerunner 920XT died, I needed a unit for a challenge series run the next day that required I have a device that I could upload the data from. I did a quick online search of what was available locally that I could pickup the next morning. I knew I wanted in the long term to get one of the higher end Garmin watches so I didn't want to spend too much but at the same time I wanted a watch with decent features. The watch charges up fast it's easy to use especially if you have ever owned another Garmin device. The battery life seems very good so far. The only tweaks I made from out of the box setup was to have it sync with my phone, adjusted how it calculates sped and distance to account for elevation changes rather than just using the out of box straight line measurements, and enabled dual mode positioning using both GPS and Galileo to get the most precise measurements. On the coursed that I know the distance on it seems to be dead on. When I get one of the higher end Garmin units this one could still make a great everyday watch and a nice backup should that ever be required. If someone is on a limited budget but needs a good watch for running and possibly cycling I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this watch to them.

Great no-frills watch for tracking fitness and basic navigation. I purchased mainly for mountaineering, looking for the breadcrumb navigation, altimeter, etc to allow navigation if the weather rolls in. Haven't had a chance to need it yet, but have climbed with it and it works well. I like running with it too, it tracks my workouts and sync's with the Garmin Connect app on the phone. Features I wasn't expecting but pleasantly surprised by are the sleep trackers. Not sure how it is tracking my different sleep cycles but it is a cool feature. Battery life is great also. I can easily go a week with normal usage and workouts - it gets drastically cut if you are using GPS tracking but that is the same with all watches like this. Overall, I haven't explored all the features yet but I'm very happy with the features I got for the price. I was also considering a Fenix, but those are nearly 5 times the price of this on sale at Best Buy. Andy

This watch was exactly what I wanted and needed. Very long battery life, no extra unneeded apps, and I can track my life progresses easily. The description doesn't tell you, but it does come with a charge cable specifically for this watch. Works great. Highly recommend getting this watch if you're not into all those flashy colors of the other watches.

While I am loathe to admit it, I am an older man who needed to find some new motivation to get moving. This smart watch is actually a very good product for the money and is fairly simple to use once you have read the very short instruction book, downloaded both the Android and IOS apps, and then paired the watch with one or both devices to figure out which graphic interface you prefer. For me, the IOS application seems to be better thought out and while they are similar, they are not the same. Ease of use. Let me state for the record that I am a tech guy. I get tech, and I understand it. It will take some real playing around with this watch to make all the features work, and make all of them work the way I want them to. There are probably easier swart watches out there to understand such as the samsung, or the Applewatch. If you want something simple and probably with a touch screen, I would go that route. I wanted durability and the GPS features of a Garmin watch. You can operate the watch as a stand alone device or you can pair it with a tablet, or phone. Either one works just fine, though right now I prefer to have it tethered to my tablet as I do not really have a need to use it for a smart phone. I have not tried out the phone features but it does alert me to texts which seems to be not a big deal as you can always set the mode to “do not disturb”. The color is of the watch itself is a graphite color and the band seems to match pretty well. It does a good job tracking my heart rate as evidenced by my watching a horror film this evening and noticing that it had spiked several times on the app. I look forward to using it to further enhance my exercise routine and to help me get into better shape than I am in currently.

This has been an amazing watch. I love all of the features. Especially the pace tracer. When you set it to run/walk/bike it will track hr, elapsed time, and pace which is super helpful. The rugged band and watch face is great for not getting dinged or scratched up. The water resistant feature will be handy when i am able to get back in the pool.
