Being a firefighter this watch is great. It’s rugged and still does a lot of things the Garmin fenix does but not as expensive.

Easier to use than I thought it would be with no touch screen. Was really torn between this and the Fenix. The Fenix sure look better and the color screen is really nice but I don’t think it is worth 3x as much for me. The black and white display works really well. Can be seen in pretty low light because the contrast is so good. Would recommend.

I own a Samsung watch and love it but i wanted something with a little better battery life. I hate having to charge a watch every 2 days if i want the always on display. This Garmin is amazing! I used it for one day and then fully charged it and 4 days later it still shows 5 bars out of 5 on the battery guage. Obviously the Samsung has a better screen with colors and alot more vibrant, but it takes its toll on the battery. I do give samsung props for working like new after 2 years of being covered on saw dust from my job. I assume the Garmin wont be effected by the sawdust either though. If you want a smartwatch that has amazong battery life and is more about functionalities than looks, this is a good choice.

First GPS watch. Very accurate and easy to use to track my runs. Comfortable watch

Heart/activity monitor OK. GPS position OK. Elevation inaccurate and does not retain the manual entry. Battery bad on first one had to get unit replaced. Buy the warrantee! Geek Squad was exceptional. I need the heart monitor per Dr. order and they helped me get replacement with no hassles. Thanks! The replacement has been working very well except for the inaccurate altimeter. If that is critical for you, you should check it before you buy it. Also there isn't actually a built in thermometer for ambient temp. It requires an additional devise. Battery life for the basic operation is about one week.

This is a very durable and rugged watch, designed for all types of environments. GPS is a great feature

I am very pleased with this watch. It has a lot more features than what I really thought it could hold. It has help me to improve in doing more exercise as well as it has help me to be more conscious about my own health. One of the things that is challenging with the watch is to know where the return is as you Are setting up your watch. This is something that Carmen could help in the instructions at the very beginning of the manual.

Great watch lots of neat features and the battery is great if your nota heavy user like me

Love this watch. I am a contractor; the design is sturdy and strong. The accuracy is fantastic and the battery life is incredible. Easy to use and no touch screen issue because it is controlled by the buttons not the face.

This has to be one of the best smart watches I have owned. I don't wear it all day everyday, but I do use it to work out and track my sleep. Some weekends I will keep it on all day and night. The battery life is amazing get 5-10 days of battery use out of it, also takes 20-30 minutes to fully charge up when the battery is low. This watch has to be the best bang for the buck.

Good overall gps, doesn’t have the friendliest interface and struggles whenever there are any obstructions otherwise fairly accurate.

I switched from a FitBit to a Garmin and I couldn’t be happier. The GPS is very accurate and I like the Garmin app as well. As a runner, it serves the exact purpose. Totally worth the price.

This is a good watch. It is very light and I am able to sleep with it on. I wish the screen was a bit bigger, but it is a good mix of lightweight and functional. Great battery life!

I've been using a Forerunner 230 for 3+ years until I recently shattered the screen. I've always preferred a chest strap heart rate monitor to the wrist monitor when working out since the chest strap is much more accurate. I was able to buy the Instinct for a little more than a new Forerunner 235. I've only been using the watch for about a week but I really like it. It was easy to pair with my chest strap. When I start a workout/activity it will automatically pair with the chest strap if I'm wearing it. I really like the additional features and widgets and the ability to customize them and the watch face itself. I'd definitely refer to a friend. My only regret is not buying a black one, but that's only available from Garmin directly and it costs more.

Bought this as a gift for my husband, who had just taken up running as a hobby. He loves it and it does everything that he wants. He ditched his apple watch and will only be a Garmin guy from now on.

Excellent battery life and love the GPS to mark traps and trail cameras.

Love this watch it syncs with all my devices on my bike even though it’s not the same brand and easy to upload onto my Apple health and Strava accounts
