There are so many things this watch does. From GPS to monitoring my heart rate. I am still learning and it would be helpful to have a more detailed instruction book butI have been able to google anything I needed help with.

Great smart watch. Durable, long battery life, great app to review mountain biking, hiking, weight lifting and sleep data. Bought a second one for my son as a gift.

I never thought I would be a smart watch user, but the instinct has totally changed my perception of these devices. If you’re a fan of G-Shock style watches but want the power of GPS, a heart rate monitor, etc. — then the Instinct is a great buy. This watch is a steal at this price.

This is a great watch, I use it everyday at work to count my steps and track my heart rate and stress levels. When I'm not at work I used the sleep tracker and GPS. I plan on using some of the other workout features in the near future. This watch is now part of my daily routine.

Got this for my boyfriend for Christmas because he wanted a fitness tracker and the guy at the store said this was most durable. He does carpentry/construction and has banged it and has not had any problems. It is also easy to use, once he started wearing it it sent messages to teach him how to use it as it applied. I think he is enjoying the competition mode between other local users.

I have had several Garmin products in the past and have always felt I could depend on them. I was looking for a watch for hiking and didn't need all the features, nor the price tag, on the latest Fenix. Then I found this one. It has most of the features at an affordable price. I haven't used everything it can do, but I am impressed so far. In particular I am quite surprised at the battery life.

I’ve had the instinct a month now and love everything about it. I looked at the Garmin Fenix series but found this to be the best fit for what I was looking for. Also if you can get it while on sale for $199 it’s hard to beat the features for the price. Highly recommend!

It's exactly the watch I was looking for. A little smartwatch capability, with GPS tracking and high durability. It did freeze up on me after a month but I'm holding judgement because best buy replaced it without issue. Will update if I have further issues

The watch has worked to my expectations. I have used it on hundreds of trail miles. Battery life is on par with all features enabled. The ability to download courses allowed me to train on trails for a race.

I just wanted a smart watch that would track a few things. I didn’t want to read email or take calls on it. This watch is solid. Tracks plenty of activities. GPS is easy to use. Oh, and the battery life is great. Charging every 10 days or so.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a bday gift. He loves it. Uses it nonstop.. He uses for work and for hiking in the mountains. He loves that it tracks his heart rate, gives an exact coordinates of location in mountains and has a compass. Not to mention the build in flash light is a plus. Not too big or small for his wrist. Over great gift

Initially, it appeared to be of low quality and gave the impression of being a counterfeit toy. However, after utilizing it for one to two months, I must admit that it has proven to be a decent timepiece for the time being. Pros: *lightweight *simple and minimal display *it can link most apps *can link with Iphone *long-lasting battery (lasted for 3 full days without charging) Cons: *the outer frame and band feels cheap *did not come with charging cube *charging cable is way too short *can't customize the band *not much options to customize the frame nor the band

This is by far the best watch yet. It is a great watch. I used it for three workouts - walking, bike and in my job I were the watch everyday it's so beautiful. The apps for the see exercises are great Buy it, you will not regret your purchase. It does it all.

Best deal out there on a functional gps watch. No frills but enough to keep track of most activities. The Instinct outperforms my more expensive watch from another manufacturer. The Garmin app is also better than the competitors.

Gifted to me from son. Battery life is excellent. Heart, step counter, and other settings work as described. Just practice using the buttons and you will get used to it in no time. Enjoy

This is my first smart watch. I have an iPhone but did not want to get an apple watch because I have always been a Casio G shock fan. This watch reminds me a lot of the G shocks in feel and look. Plus I got 3 weeks out of my first charge. Definitely not into charging a watch every night like I have to do my watch. Watch has pretty cool watch face, easier to read than G shock. Overall very satisfied with this so far.

The Garmin Instinct watch is rugged, looks good, and the battery life is also good. The accuracy it has using the GPS is great and it accurately tracks the path taken during run or walk. The material of the watch, even though plastic, is soft and not hard on wrist. The flexibility of the band is good. It provides some very good features and the watch face is pretty good during daylight and nigh time.

I had bought a Garmin venu when it was on sale. It's a great watch. But I found myself banging it and scratching it against concrete and things while I was working. So the instinct went on sale and I bought it as it was supposed to be tougher. And dang I am impressed. Love the band that comes with. also I scuba dive and snorkel so this watch was better for that as well. You give up the touch screen and the music for the features I mentioned. The buttons once you learn them are pretty straightforward and easy. I use it to run and bike and it does pretty much everything I need. Looks great also in my opinion. If I have one complaint it's that it's not quite as easy to read in low light as the venu was. But in bright sunlight it looks wonderful and the venu didn't.
