Incredible battery life, i only charge it once a week

This is a great smart watch is you don’t feel like paying for an overpriced redundant Apple Watch or galaxy watch. The Garmin Instinct easily Connected with my IPhone 11 and has done basically everything I expected. There are some features though such as the flashlight which is incapable of producing enough quality light as the other watches on the market do but this is still a good purchase for anyone looking for a more functional watch

Overall, I am very happy with the smartwatch. The only disappointment I am experiencing so far is with the battery life between charges. It states on Garmins website "Don't be limited by battery life. Get up to 14 days in smartwatch mode." I have taken several small hikes (3-4 hours, 8-12 miles) a couple times a week in preparation for trip to Colorado, and find the battery wont even last a full week when tracking these trips in (Hike Mode). Will be contacting Garmin to review this with them. Otherwise, Awesome watch for the price!

Does everything you need and probably more. Use mostly for running, biking, and skiing.

Waited a bit to review. Had a few different smart watches that were not so great. This one is BY FAR the best one for me. Long battery life and very durable. Don't even care that the screen is not color.

I needed a tough smart-ish watch to replace the G-shocks that I've worn for decades and this one fits the bill. I only take this one off to charge for an hour every week or two, depending on how many workouts, runs or hikes I track. So, the battery life is great everywhere except when tracking anything when the temperature is below freezing. Mine has already lived through and tracked elk and mule deer hunts, snowshoeing, turkey hunting, roofing, fishing, vehicle maintenance and repair and trailer maintenance and repair. My son in law works in a concrete manufacturing facility and his has lived through the strain of that labor, too, where he had broken two Apple watches at the same job.

So far has been great. Every feature works. Was nice when hiking to trace trail

I love this watch, Shows all the notifications from my phone, GPS is accurate. The battery life is so good, and I can wear this watch without charging it for weeks.

I’m able to track my workouts. The only thing I’m a little disappointed about is it doesn’t have a workout tracker for full-court basketball LOL
