Wow! Great quality, don’t have to worry about breaking it! This watch is tough and the battery last 10+ days (without using the gps) .

    Apple Watch killer imo

Bought this because my Apple Watch was too fragile for my adventures. Sure for an inside person or a runner an Apple Watch is great for but fishing is my niche of a hobby and I can’t have something in the $500-600 range die after 1 1/2 years. It’s unacceptable. This Garmin has me un-phased no matter my whereabouts and has all the features I was really looking for that my Apple Watch lacked. Just nice merging what works with a little dash of smart features and that’s what this Watch is to me, a daily reliable watch.

Love this watch! I don’t use all the notifications and only use GPS occasionally. I’ve gone over 3 weeks in a single charge and still going strong.

Great GPS smartwatch for the outdoors and hikes

This is a great watch that's reasonably priced; if you're looking for an entry into the smartwatches that would primarily be for the outdoors and GPS functionality, this is a great one. The screen is admittedly basic when following a hiking course (you can send GPX files from your phone to the watch) but it suffices with it's turn-by-turn and outline of the hiking course. It does have some other phone connectivity functions such as text, alerts, and music control but I primarily use this for the outdoors. And for that, it does just fine.

It has been a little over a month since I purchased the Instinct to replace my 4 year old Forerunner 35. I am very pleased and satisfied with my new Instinct. The display is very readable and is highly customizable to display the info you want to see. The GPS satellite acquisition is very fast. Overall, the Instinct has provided a nice upgrade in features and performance. The Garmin Connect app will even true-up the data from both the Instinct and the 35 so I can continue to use both watches. Very happy with my choice!

This watch is perfect if you primarily care about tracking activities, counting steps, etc. It doesn't have a ton of fancy features, but it does the basics very well. I've been using it daily for over 4 months now and I love this thing! Garmin has me hooked.

Needed a watch that I could use all day, for work, at the gym, and even outdoors. I'm a pretty active person overall and prior to this watch, I was rocking a fitbit versa (1st gen). Lasted me two years, but sadly battery life declined drastically. Had this watch for a week and as of now, Im loving it. The reinforced polymer is both durable and comfortable, and I'm loving the graphite color. Simple, not flashy. Features do take a while to get used too, but nothing too drastic. Overall, worth it!

I’m a Supervisor that work in the Oil field, always running back and forth between the field and meetings. This is a great product to not only Keep track of time but help with knowing whose calling or texting without having to dig into your pocket for your phone.

I don't wear watches much, nor do I care for the "smart watch" fad, but this is the only one that I have stuck with. I've owned it for about a month now I think and I literally haven't taken it off except to shower, during which I charge it. The battery lasts 5-7 days on average even with constant notifications, the screen and case are durable and aren't even scuffed yet, the features are easy to use, and the face is big enough that you can see anything you need to see easily. It's honestly the perfect outdoorsman watch.

It takes a little time to get used to the operation of the various buttons, but after a couple of weeks use I am now getting to know my way around. The tracking is very accurate and when used in boat mode, the track plot and speed are spot on. Taking a location is very simple.
