Excellent watch for those that love the outdoors. Also looks good enough to wear everywhere.

So far, so good. Not as pretty as the Vivoactive, but where it's missing in aesthetics, it more than makes up in function and durability.

Love the design. battery is ok on GPS mode. heart rate monitor is not as accurate. but for some light workout and track, this is an awesome watch!

I gave this watch to my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It's just got so many features it is hard to get the watch set-up. There are all kinds of them he still hasn't had time to sit down and try to figure out.

This was my first step up to a dedicated "fitness tracker" wearable and it's safe to say I'm pretty disappointed. Sure this thing has 14 days of battery, and super accurate GPS, and all those other wow features but if wanted to use it to track your HR during workouts- forget it. I've had this thing a little more than a month and I've yet to have it accurately track a strength workout. You might say: "are you wearing it right?" ,"is it snug but not too tight?", "is the sensor clean?", and trust me I've done it all. Worn it higher, lower, on the inside of my wrist, tighter, looser, "snug", and I even went as far as shaving my wrist to see if it helps. You might ask "well how far off is it?" and my example would be 40 mins into a workout where I'm gassed this thing is telling me my HR is 100bpm. I'm flattered my watch thinks I have the heart of Michael Phelps, but come on. When it reads that low it throws off your calories burned and other metrics which is the whole reason I bought this thing! When you buy products you expect them to just work (i.e., Apple) yet this thing just doesn't work. I wanted an all-in-one solution to track my activities and fitness without having to buy more accessories (e.g., chest-based HRM) and unfortunately this isn't it. If I were you, seriously consider looking elsewhere, supposedly the Solar version of this "has all new sensors" but at this point, I'm very skeptical of all things Garmin.

By far the best garmin watch I have ever owned! The battery for normal use without GPS is 2 days short of 3 weeks! Definitely a great device

Great watch i love it keeps good track of my sleep its waterproof i havent had any problems with it

Really nice watch if you don't care for all the "bells and whistles" offered by more mainstream products. The battery lasts two weeks easy

Purchased for Fathers Day. My husband loves it. Especially the GPS and bluetooth capabilities. Great watch for the price.

Rugged durable watch does what i need it too. It’s very barebones compared to some other watches but it’s what i like about it.

Solid performer with good battery life. Operating functions takes practice. The band is very comfortable.

I purchased this smart watch as a more durable alternative to Apple Watch since water sports is my primary activity and Apple Watch is too delicate. This is a great value from a trusted brand. The app experience is great and very easy to set up and use. Navigation took a minute but there are great YouTube video tutorials that help with all the features and buttons. If you are looking for a smart watch / activity tracker under $200 I don't think the Garmin Instinct can be beat.
