Camera is completely hidden by my rearview mirror. The only drawbacks: 1) The length of the long cable - it's not long enough to set up a 2nd camera in my rear window. 2) The lack of a hardwiring kit (or if one is available, BestBuy didn't stock it).

Sometime it would not shift from parking mode to driving mode only after 15 minutes or so I returned it and bought a different Garmin dash cam and it’s working with no issues

Posted .Sorry for the confusion, the Parking Mode is designed to only record and save videos when the sensor detects motion. At all other times the dash cam is in a stand by mode.

She said it was easy to setup and use and loves how small it is. She said it's mounted right in front of her rearview mirror and doesn't even notice it there. I can't give it 5 stars though simply because I don't have any direct experience with it myself.

I haven't had a chance to take it off of the windshield and view through the computer via the dongle that was provided.
