Having a clamp to hold the GPS unit on its base instead of a suction cup was a great idea. The suction cup on my other GPS holders have a habit of breaking loose on hot days and this device eliminates that problem. The beanbag type base fits almost anywhere and stays put, keeping the GPS unit firmly in place on your dash. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is great! It keeps the gps unit in place. There's no more trying to catch it or hold it when making turns. It holds the unit so you have a clear view of the screen.

this pad sits still. it does not slide off the dash when we corner. \ no marks or tape no velcro, it is great. stows away easily. in console when I don't want it out

I always hated that the suction cup mount would fall off of the windshield in extreme temps. This fixes all of that. Stays put on the dashboard. Glad I bought it!

This is a great way to have the Garmin at a convenient location where it's easy to see and to search for a map. Wouldn't have a Garmin without it. Great product.

I bought this for a Nissan Frontier 2012 dash, because it has a little indentation in the dash... fit perfectly.. and can even bend the legs a bit to wrap around things

Great features, we have used in several states many extras not on other GPS Devices. Great for big city driving. I highly recommend this device.

This was recommended to me by an employee at Best Buy - so glad I got it. Does not slide around and is very convevient.

I move between vehicles frequently and this is the ticket. No more removing the suction base and remounting. Too much of that destroyed the suction cup. Now its grab and go, it sits on the dash or steering column, I can move it to the passenger side when we switch drivers or go into a state where they don't allow things in the driver view. It just made things a lot more simple.

I had issues with other stands where they fell off after sometime or shook a lot on bad roads. This stand is intact all the time irrespective of the driving condition

This GPS mount is great. I was concerned that it might slide on the dash but that hasn't happened at all. It freed up my windshield and makes my GPS more accessible.

This puts the Garmin right on ur dashboard and holds it steady. Really good product.

This mount is so much more convenient and secure than the suction cup mount that comes with the GPS. It makes it very easy to switch from one vehicle to another; just unplug, pick up, and go. It also does not come unstuck from the windshield like the suction cup mounts. If you need to hide it at a stopover on a trip it can simply be picked up and placed on the floor out of sight.

I bought this after my Garmin kept falling off my windshield mount. Was perfect for my needs and heavy enough to keep the Garmin on the dash.

Does a great job! Perfect height. I prefer it to the other models which tend to fall off the windshield.I also like that it doesn't easily fall off the dashboard.

Doesn't slide and fits my Garmin Nuvi 50 lm perfect. Easy on and off.

Doesn't move and holds my gps perfectly I work in construction and I'm always four wheeling through mud and ruts and it stays right in place every time.

Have used several times now. Because it mounts closer than a windshield mount, it is easier to see the screen and also means you do not have to turn your line-of-sight as far from the road which is a safety issue if traveling alone. The on-line pricing was also much better than the in-store price. We needed 2 of these in the family and I purchased both for a few dollars more than 1 in-store. What a deal!

I have the new Garmin with the back up camera and it is big. This mount holds it securely in place on the dash. No slipping or sliding. I am very happy with mine!
