    We were told it would work with the cell phone holder we bought, but didn't want to put on the windshield, but the 2 items were not compatible, couldn't find any cell phone holder compatible with it

    other holders fall off windshield in heat or cold. Some slide off dash. This one works fine on dash and doesn't slide around. It's easy to remove and "hide".

    Work good for holding the Garmin where we wanted to. But didn't work so good for the built in dash cam, at least for us. So if you want to use the dash cam, you better do more research.
