For a "universal" mount, it works very well. Like it.

I thought this would be a good alternative to the suction cup that I've used for years. However, the space between my dash and windshield was too narrow to accommodate this holder. If you have a bigger space, like in a minivan, this product may work for you.

Great way to get the device off of the windshield!

I loved the design of this Vehicle mount, until I used it in my car and turned a sharp corner and could not reach it before it went sailing across my dash board. The power cord saved my GPS from crashing. Simple design change like: use of Velcro tape to hold the unit down would cost a couple pennies and save an accident at every sharp turn, because no matter how hard you try and how heavy the traffic, those sharp turns will send your GPS flying and you can't help but save your investment as you crash your vehicle. Major safety hazard that will surely be the route of a few law suites.

Overall it is a nice quality mount. Nothing glamorous

The car mount snaps into a plate attached to the back of the GPS. Make sure your GPS box includes the plate (and suction cup mount). Mine did not and it took Garmin 10 days to supply the missing piece.

This mount is good if you don't have a blue tooth speaker in the middle of your dash! Also the mount where you attach GPS doesn't adjust for different height ranges to use with a dash camera if your GPS comes with one.

I purchased this item for my boyfriend to place it in his semi-truck and it does not work well. From time to time it slides. I think it would work better in a car, but not a vehicle that goes over a lot of bumps and etc.

Adjustable so it holds my GPS like I want. Base is fabric so it will fade with constant exposure to sunlight. Base is sometimes not heavy enough to stay in the same spot on the dash.

I'm an over the road driver, this is a good product as far as money goes. Keeps the gps from being mounted in the windshield where it might interfere with line of sight.

Be advised to always look at where you might be locating the in your vehicle. There was no place on my dash that worked so unfortunately I couldn't use it.

This mounting is not the best, but it does the purpose. Not very stable and the mounting keeps falling.

This attachment is convenient as you can place it anywhere on your dash or move from car to car, however it is rather large and clunky so may not fit on smaller dashes.

This worked great but unfortunately it faded quickly from the sunlight. My vehicle is garage kept, so I was surprised this happened.

Poor function . Had difficulty using this item. It didn't stay firmly on dashboard. Gps kept falling out of position. I was unable to keep gps in my view.

This just didn't work well for us. There was nothing prong with it however there was nothing to make it great either. we ended up returning.
