A sort of hard bottom would’ve helped to prevent sliding

The Garmin- vehicle mount is suppose to remain in place without any help from other means. However, it does not stay in place on my dash. I am continually having to move it back in place. It does not do what I expected it to do and would not recommend it to others.

We have thee stand in another vehicle made with rubber. It has more adjustment features and never slides. This unit we bought slides too easily on the dash toy where the screen is hard to wee.

I would recommend this to a friend and family. We had to hold it in our laps before buying this mount. Works great.

Does not work well with Garmin - dezlCam 785 LMT-S 7" GPS with Built-In Bluetooth - Black. Makes the Garmin shake badly when driving down road,

This is really not a good product, especially for the price. It tends to slide around on the dash and it makes clicking noise constantly while driving.

This equipment isn't really worth it if you have bought a new GPS and the stock mount is working. May be helpful if your previous mount isn't working.

Works great if it’s not inside of a vehicle. It doesn’t stick to anything.

I don't recommend this product! It will not remain in place. It slides around too much!

I was pleasantly suprised with how well this item stays on the dash despite movement with the car. You can place it so it does not obstruct vision and is easy to view while driving. It is so much better than my previous Garmin that used the suction cup on the windshield.

It slides all over my dashboard, should have gotten the other one.

I got this mount to go with my Nuvi 255W. The windshield mount that it came with fell off twice in the month I've had it so I knew I needed something else. I got this AMAZING mount with a best buy giftcard online christmas day and it was half off. I used store pick up and got it the day after Christmas and I could not be more satisfied. It sits like it's super-glued to the dash, but the great thing is all you have to do is set it there. You don't have to use anything to attach it and there's nothing you have to leave in your car that would make your car a target to a thief. It also makes moving from one vehicle to another a breeze, so much better than messing with the suction cup. I love that it's so easy to remove the whole thing when I'm at home. When I'm out and have to leave my car unattended, the arm unlocks and slides off the base so I can stick the mount underneath my seat and the GPS in the console next to my seat. It takes all of 10 seconds to have everything completely out of sight. Which is important because who wants to broadcast to a thief that you have a GPS in your car?? The only bad thing that I could begin to say about it is it's kind of ugly, but when it works this good, that's EASILY forgotten about. I would buy it again for full price in a second.

Not exactly what I was looking for. Great product though. Just not for me.

The mount has no way to attach it to the GPS. The clip is not provided. I spent a great deal of time looking 'on line' to find a clip that would work with both the mount and my GPS. I would not have purchased this mount if I had known it needed an additional clip. Instructions on or inside the box would have been nice.

This product was not the most stable and I found it clumsy to use.
