I purchasedi this product and like it a lot. It holds the garman on the consol 0f the car and I can see the screen very well

Bought this mount, because I did not want a suction cup on my windshield. This mount works great, very stable on my dash.

It is so much easier to place it on the dashboard then on the window. Especially with my ford escape. The window is so deep.

I have used the windshield mount for years, and from time to time the windshield mount would lose suction and fall. I finally replaced it with this mount. This was much easier to adjust the position of the GPS, but once in place it never moved, even when bouncing around off-road in my Jeep. I now prefer this over the windshield mount.

This thing is great, I have a large truck and the window is pretty far away. With is I can easily reach the unit to make adjustments and even on rough roads its mot sliding all over my dashboard.

This mount is great to position the GPS on. Easy to place on the dashboard and simple to move if there is glare on the screen

Works great, got tired of the window clamp not working all the time. Heavy enough not to slide around!

This is the second one we've purchased, so we could have one for each car. We used to switch between cars when taking trips. The stand allows you to have the Garmin closer to you to make it easier to see as opposed to mounting in on the window further away. You also don't have to worry about a window mount leaving circles on the window.

Was so tired of GPS falling off the windshield. Purchased this and fits excellent on dashboard and very heavy duty.

This unit by Garmin is very helpful. We have a deep dash, so mounting to the windshield was more difficult for use. This mount has made things so much more convenient. No stretching for the GPS. No windshield suction cup marks. No GPS falling off the windshield in the heat of the day. The unit really is no slip or skid, It stays in place every time and no sticky, gooy mess as some dashboard products.

This enables the Garmin GPS to have a versatile, stable view for the driver. It stays in place, does not slide around.

Forget the suction cup mount that comes with your GPS. With changing temps the suction cup mount occasionally would release from the windshield causing the GPS to fall but with this sand bag mount it rests securely on the dash. It's easier to view and easier to remove out of sight when you park your car.

I like the ease of placing my Garmin exactly where I want it and it is easy to move from one vehicle to another.

Left my garmin bag base in a rental car so needed a new one. THis was and is the best mount for easy in and out.

This is a sweet piece because it actually stays in place works great and does not block drivers vision of the road.

Used during cross country vacation. Held the GPS where it was needed. Did not move on the dash. Easy to stow away.

Works superbly to get the Garmin OFF the windshield, out of reach, to the dashboard, where I can safely & easily use it to find my destination. Works great and hasn't slid off my dash once. I do sometimes have to drive rough since it's in my patrol car, but the mount stays put!!

When that suction cup finally wears out on your Garmin, this might be a good alternative as a replacement. Stays put, and holds my GPS in place without having to deal with that suction cup melting to the glass. Happy with purchase.
