a little pricey, but worth it

So I bought the Vehicle Mount and it works great. For the price ($40) I thought it would be something a bit more sophisticated but it is nothing more than a cloverleaf-shaped weighted base. But it adjusts to the shape of the dashboard and does not move once placed. And you can lock it so it does not move. I can put the screen close enough to where I can easily see what's going on.

excellent mount for my garmin auto gps

This mount is a LIFESAVER! Just connect your navigator to it and I place it on my dash. It stays put and I have no difficulty seeing. Awesome purchase.

Just pick it up and put it out of site when leaving you're car unattended. No more suction-cups or messy double sided tape mounts!

Nicely designed GPS mount

It is portable so you can locate it to suit the driver and move from car to car. However, it stays in place right where I want it on the dashboard. The unit doesn't slide at all because of the non-skid fabric on the bottom and weighted corners.

Decided to go with this mount because I rent vehicles for work and sometimes it is difficult to find a location to attach a suction cup. And they fall off of the windshield. This sand bag mount stays put.
