My truck has a large flat dash and I preferred not to attach any obstructions to the window. This mount is perfect for setting on the dash and doesn't move around. Now if Garmin made a long lasting battery I wouldn't have to plug in to charge all the time and this would be a perfect set up.

This mount works much better than one I bought years ago. Stays in place and makes it much easier to see GPS because it is closer.

With this, the device is mounted on my dash, and the air conditioner isn't blocked. My parents had purchased this for theirs, and I liked it enough that I bought it as well.

Great for flat dashboards.

Used it on a 3 day cross country drive and the GPS didn't move or fall once. Highly recommended. The only downside is that it is quite large, and may be physically unappealing to some.
