This platform is more stable than it looks, thanks mostly to it's large footprint. Assembles and disassembles easily.

bought a new car and didn't want a permanent mount for gps. this item works very well and doesn't slide around. Holds gps very secure.

Holds the gps no problem. Base stays put under normal driving. Not the greatest looking thing I've ever seen, but it does its job well.

A bit overpriced for my taste but it holds your GPS up on your dash without leaving marks on your windshield so it gets the job done.

I purchased this mount for my Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT-S 6.95" GPS and is perfect for it! The mount doesn't slide, holds my GPS in place, and is easy to use.

It's easy to put GPS on stand. No more GPS falling off of the windshield. It's stays in place for a whole trip. It doesn't slide around at all.

This item works great in my husbands' suburban. He can remove the GPS totally out of sight when parked and then it sticks to it's spot when driving. After several years you may need to replace the item due to the weather conditions making the rubber on the underside become less durable.

neither window nor dashboard suction mounts worked, this stays put, doesn't move from dash, well worth the money.

Far better than the last mount we had. No more suction cup. This actually slips into a slot and then locks down with a lever. Also, weighted base hasn't slipped across the dash at all. Much better design than the old one.

Other than the price being three times higher than it should be it does work very well, looks good and is versatile. I am very happy with it other than the price . I came very close to putting it back on the shelf at the store due to the cost . I feel the cost is very unreasonable for what it is. $9.95 is the right price for this item. and even $9.95 may be to high in some markets. I would recommend this at a much lower price.

Absolutely love this compact holder! I bought it because I was tired of having to constantly replace the suction cup and then, having it fall off of my windshield for whatever reason (too hot, too cold, road too bumpy). This is a compact holder that still allows me to display my GPS wherever I want (middle of my dashboard, left corner of my dashboard, in front of my tachometer, in the opening on my console above my radio/cd player). Plus, it also can hold my cell phone in place of my GPS! It's weighted enough where it truly does not move until you want it to move. Can't say enough good about it!!

I prefer this type of mount,easily moved to different placement to cut back on sun glare.Can easily move gps up/down,right or left.Holds gps well.

I hate having rings on my window. I purchased the dash holder instead. It is so easy to use. Just snap it on and put it on your dash and off you go. It does not move! Very handy and safe.

I got this one to use when visiting out of state and driving other vehicles. I like that it is some what 'flexible' on where I put it on the dash. Most others I have seen have to be on a flat surface but my dash, where I want my GPS, is slopped a tad and this one fits the bill.

I was worried it would just slide right off the dash when i stopped or turned but so far it has hung on there pretty well.

Outstanding. If you want to set your GPS on the dash (or the seat next to you) this holds it well. Easily adjustable and holds well during hard/fast city driving. Seldom slips and when it does, it's slow enough you can get to it and just push it back.

This bean bag holds my gps unit right where I want it. It doesn’t slide around too much and it makes the gps easy to see.

Don't have to worry about the Garmin sliding off the dash, it stays put with this weighted mount just fine. Recommend it.

I got tired of my GPS falling off of the windshield, so I started looking at friction mounts like this one. I almost bought Amazon's own model, but realized the price wasn't much better. I think Amazon's mount only has 3 beanbag sections, also. The dashboard in my Colorado is pretty uneven, but this mount works perfectly. I have two small trays built into the dash for items like change and sunglasses. I set this mount across the one in the rear, with the front beanbag portion in the front tray. The mount molds nicely to the dash, and has never fallen off, even on rough roads.

Used this mount with a Garmin 51. Set up was extremely easy and with the weight of the mount, gps didn't move at all. Definitely a good product.
