It does a very good job keeping my Garmin GPS in place on my dash while diving.

Works well if you don't want your GPS stuck to your windshield. Previously had trouble with suction cup staying attached to windshield. That was inconvenient.

Exactly what I was looking for. Stays firmly in place while driving. Able to position in different places, as needed. Clicks in and out of the Garmin easily.

It does a great job resting on your dashboard where you can position it for great visibility and it remains stationary while you drive.

This gps mount is very easy to install the GPS to and it doesn't slide around on your dashboard even when you go around corners or have to stop suddenly.

I purchased the Garmin - Vehicle Mount for GPS because I was having problems with the original mount adhering to the window. It was especially problematic during the winter; my GPS unit would frequently fall off the windshield. This new unit just sits on the dashboard; no attachment needed. Remarkably, it does not slide around, even when I make sharp turns I am well pleased with the performance of this item both in summer and winter.

I loved this GPS vehicle mount. It is very sturdy and stays in place on the dash for all of my long road trips. So far, I've never had it fall off the dashboard or slide around the dashboard either. After suffering in time past with the suction mount dropping during travel (2 different suction types) I decided to try something new. Sure, you can keep cleaning the windshield and suction surface with alcohol or windex to make it grip longer, but who wants to do that each time before they use it. Eventually the hot sun or extreme cold makes the old suction cup come undone. Buy this product, you won't be sorry!

this allows the garmen to be set on the dashboard and the garmen can be rotated to the right height and direction. the mount has not moved during the ride and is secure

The suction window mounts always come loose at the most inconvenient possible time. This is an excellent alternative, and it's much easier to mount the Garmin on it.

Prefer thisover any other option. Nicely weighted, no sticky residue on my dash. It's perfect for my Garmin

Have used the friction mount, coupled to the Garmin nuvi 2455 lmt across Illinois, Michigan and Iowa, and in Irelalnd - great combination! easy to use and adjust in sunlight and varying light conditions. Much better than the fixed suction pad alternative. The mount is expensive but is much more superior to the suction pad.(Garmin suggest that suction pads are not allowed in some States - I'd don't know on this one)

No complaints with this mount. Keeps GPS stable and solid on the dash, easy to pick up to move out of sight when vehicle is parked.

It doesn't slide around. It stays right where you put it. It makes using the GPS easy. The price was really affordable.

I bought this even though I didn't want such a bulky holder for my Garmin. I bought this & it wasn't as big as I thought it was going to be & it does the job well. I gave it four stars because on bumpy roads that holder still tends to move and slide. It does't slide much but it would be nice if it just stayed still. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I looked at a Garmin in the local Best Buy Store. But they did not have one to sell, sample only. I ordered from the Garman factory and got an upgrade for same price. It has several features more that I will use I am very pleased with the product.
