I had this when I bought my gps, the base had worn quite a bit in the three years that I had it. but I was a great base that is why a bought one just like it.

This worked great for me on a long trip that I did not want my GPS stuck to my windshield. It was very easy to conceal my GPS during stops along my route.

My first Mac Book Pro ever and so far, so good. Like all things that are new, it will take some getting use to after having PCs for the majority of my life.

This is a great item. My dash (2014 Chevy Sonic) really doesn't have a flat space, however after hard stops and too fast cornering, it stays in place.

I have a GPS but do not like it stuck to the windshield as cannot reach it if I need and its a distraction to just need to change the volume on it soI went to Best Buy to seek a holder that would set on the dash and I got it and love having it there, no need to remove it, just take the GPS off the holder when I park the car, it does not block my view when driving. etc.

This is such a universal design - I love it. Very soft, non-scratch bottom to protect any surface. The weight is just right to keep it where you put it. It allowed me to put my GPS where I want it, in multiple vehicles. Worthwhile purchase that dies it's job simply and without hassle. I recommend it.

I used one when on vacation when rented a car and loved it so bought one when I got home. It doesn't look like it would be heavy enough, but it is.

I'm very happy with this GPS old, very secure and easy to use.

We bought this mount to go with our gps that we use in our semi truck. We like it better than window or vent mounts as it is heavy enough to hold in place yet it can easily be moved from place to place without removing the gps.

We are not big fans of the suctioning of the GPS to the windshield. When we bought our new car we wanted to try this since we have a nice flat area to put it. This works perfect! Weighted enough that there is no tipping over, locks the GPS in place so it is securely attached.

I was looking for an alternative to a widshield mount for my Garmin. This mount stays in place on the dash and is at a very good viewable level.

I was worried about whether this mount would actually be able to hold my very expensive (in my opinion) GPS. But with a radar detector already on my windshield I wanted to find another way to display/use my gps without restricting my view. The mount has worked wonderfully with no issues. Well worth the investment.

I got a gps stolen out of a rental car because the sucking cup left a ring on the glass(a tell tale for thiefs), now I have the mount that sits anywere I place it and at the end of the day, i store it in the box between the seats and no one ever knows I have the divise. I like the way it holds the gps, strong . I got mine and then my husband went back and go another for his gps.

Very good. I made a few sudden stops, but the mount does not move. To set the GPS, I just lift the whole thing and it is very convenient. When the sun shines to the screen, I can change the position easily. I have two of them now!

I purchased this item because I flat out despise those annoying suction cup things and the marks they put on my windshield. Problem solved.
