I had another vehicle mount for my Garmin. It was so old the bottom got smooth and kept sliding off my dashboard. I like how this one is made and it works very well. I don't like ghd kind that sticks to ghd dashboard or the window mounts.

This is a great alternative to attaching the go’s to the windshield. It’s easy to put away when you are done using it. It can be adjusted to fit the contour of your dashboard

The suction cup on my GPS would not stick on my dashboard and I did not want it on my windshield. I put it by the gear shift and it kept sliding off, very frustrating. I went to Best Buy and they recommended this mount. I love,love it!

Easy to assemble stays pretty much where you put it on your dash.

Was having problems with Garmin falling off my windshield with the suction cup attachment. This product solved my problem. The Garmin stayed on my dashboard and didn't move and was easy to adjust.

I haven't had much of a chance to use it, but the one time I did, it worked well.

I purchased this because I don't like putting the GPS in my window. It stays weighed down well, and I am able to reach the GPS more easily. It was also super simple to set up, just click it on and go.

I have one of these for my Garmin dash camera. This one is for my wife's GPS. No more having the suction cup give way going down the road. Secure, yet can be broken down for storage.

This has been so helpful with my travelling. It has never steered my wrong!

Base if fine. Have one for my other car and love it. Always know it is in position for a look see and much better than someone holding the GPS and bumping the screen when you are trying to figure out a turn or something.

This is a perfect fit and stays in place. It does not obstruct my view of the road and J- walkers.

I bought this base to replace the suction cup base that comes with the gps device because when ever I park the car I remove the device for security. This base stays put and is so much easier to place and remove as needed.

Purchased this mount as I did not like the suction cup mount which came with the GPS unit. Love the stability. It never moves about on turns or upon break application. It easily stows away out of sight.

I had been using a suction connection since i purchased my GPS back in 2008, and it would fall off the windshield at least once or twice a week, sometimes much more when the temperatures changed dramatically in a day. With the new holder, that does not happen anymore, however, there are some issues with this type of holder. For some reason the GPS does not stay at the tilt that i set it, it often slips to the lowest tilt. There is also the issue that it is not secured, in a car accident it would become a missile weapon in the cabin.
