This is the adapter to buy. I drove from Virginia to Tennessee this adapter never moved during the whole trip up and back. Excellent buy for the money and worth every dollar

This is the third one I have bought. My wife uses one and I have another. I have tried about 4 different GPS mounts and by far this is the best one. I am currently using on a 7 inch Garmin and have had no problems.

This gadget is really handi ,you put it on the dash with your GPS attached and this base does not move. I couldn't keep the suction cup to stay on my windshield this GPS base works great. Yes I would recommend this to a friend

This is a much better solution than the window suction cup. It keeps the Garmin in line of sight, doesn't slide at all, and I moved longer have to worry about the suction being and causing a driving distraction.

The product is great for your gps, for the most part it doesn't slip around. If it had more of a grip on top of the weights it would be great but it works fine as is.

This is a wonderful base for your Garmin. It does not move at all while driving, but can easily be moved so that driver and passenger can see the graphics.

Bought this for my GPS so I didn't have to stick it on the windshield. Stays put where you place it, does not slide around. My commute has a 5 mile stretch of super tight curves on it and no problem from this item.

This is probably the most solid GPS Mount I have ever encountered. I won't slide, tip or move, it stays just where you put it and the great part about this thee are no suction cups or other breakables involved.

I am glad that I finally purchased a mount for my GPS that allows me the ability to place it on the dashboard without it sliding off and possibly breaking my GPS. It is easily adjustable and easy to attach the GPS too! THANK YOU!

The suction cup holder was in my lap most of the time. The new holder keeps the gps on the dash where I can see the directions. The holder does not slide around and stays in place.

The suction cup mount that came with my Garmin was never reliable in either of our cars. I have tried several products, all fell short. This mount has been perfect, I think it would be ideal in any vehicle.

This is prefect. It does slide around, holds the GPS perfectly, and doesn't leave little smudge marks on my windshield. So yeah, I love it. Also, it makes a great gift for parents (hint, hint)!

Has met my requirements of non-slip on the dash ...Would like to be able to purchase a lower pole to fit my vehicle...but is much better than what i had before...like the way the pole attaches

Works better for me than mounting to the windshield. It doesn't slip or slide around yet can be adjusted or moved as the need arises. I am a repeat buyer of this as my adult children always end up with mine.

Needed this for an RV since the window is too far away from the driver for a suction cup. Was worried it would be too flimsy. It works great. Very solid, stays in place with no problems.
