It stays where it is put and is easy to move around

I have a hard time seeing a GPS attached to my window so this is perfect for me. I can move it closer to me and adjust it where it's most visible and convenient. I love it.

This mount works real well. It stays in place at all times. Easy to mount and dismount the garmin from this device.

I love it for it’s portability as well as it being able to be positioned very conveniently w/o blocking my view while driving

I gave this Garmin GPS mount 3 stars because there are a couple things I dont like about it. It does vibrate around some on highways and interstates so you have to occationally move it back where you like it. On rough roads or dirt roads it slides all over the place. Secondly its big and bulky and an eyesore left on your dash when the GPS is not in use and it takes up a lot of space in my armrest console. My state laws and most of the states around me where I travel a lot prohibit any suction cup mounted GPS so I guess this is as good as it gets until something better comes along. The good thing I like is it fits all my Garmin GPS's with the ball mount perfectly.

Although this takes up more storage space than the traditional windshield mount, it is easier to deal with. Puts Garmin more in the line of sight for me.

I used the garmin with the suction cup and that always ended up failing in the long run this is the perfect solution

This makes it possible to locate the GPS in easy to reach positions. My wife loves the ease of usage. We are going to buy another for our other vehicle.

Excellent product. The GPS was held tightly and becomes unmoveable when the car moves. Wish I had this product earlier.

I was hesitant because I thought no way would this thing hold my GPS in place. I had to slam on my breaks a few times in LA traffic and it never budged.

Bought this mount for my parents for Christmas. Much nicer than the ones that stick on the windshield. Seems very secure. So far, looks like a winner.

Perfect mount for GPS. It doesn't slide and stays in place and looks nice too. Way better than the window suction cup mounts.

Needed a new base for our Garmin gps and found what I needed in the store. It was stable and stayed in place when diving out of town.

Worked as promised. I needed something portable to use in multiple vehicles. Stays put in place without being permanently attached.

This is much easier to use than the standard windshield mount. When you stop anywhere you can simply move the whole thing out of sight.

Got this for my Garmin drive 65 the large GPS and it works great! Keeps it in place without moving at all.

First one I ecer had that keeps my GPS inplace on the dashboard and at the right angle so I can see it and move it easly to program it forth word is. Ever

Many years ago, I bought a Garmin 260W GPS and a Vehicle Mount to hold it. Eventually the bottom surface of the original Vehicle Mount began to harden and become slippery. It would easily slip off the dashboard of vehicles in which I used it. So I bought a new Vehicle Mount. It grips the surface nicely and refuses to slip or slide. However, it's possible that the bottom surface of the new one may also harden and begin to slide if I use it as long as I used the first one. We'll see.

This mount works great for holding my Garmin even during rough terrain. It's well worth the cost to get this product!

This is the third one I've purchased like this. Work well and breaks down if I need to take it to use with a rental car. Doesn't block the windshield or fall apart.
