    This works well, I carry my Garmin in carry pouch in which this item doesn't fit, but it is handy on dash and allows easier movement if needed over windshield suction cup.

    My suction cup mount started failing within a year of purchasing my Garmin gps unit so I bought this to dash mount it. Solid, does not slide on the dash and very adjustable. Does the job and does the job well. Almost like having a new gps unit!
