    I replaced an off-brand weighted dashboard mount for my Garmin GPS, which had been good & still worked, but would often slide, with this Garmin model. This definitely has better gripping power, thanks to the increased friction of the pad contacting the dashboard. No more potentially dangerous slides!

    I needed a different mount for our Garmin gps as the original mount was not practical with the dash camera to have proper alignment. This weighted mount does not slide around at all!! This mount gives us perfect alignment for the dash camera as well as provide a perfect access to the controls for the navigator! Great purchase!
