    Had the Garmin Nuvi 2597 in my old car and when I moved on to a newer vehicle where GPS was included in it. My wife wanted the Garmin but needed a way to dash mount to use it and this perfectly fits the bill. I unclipped it from the original mount and re-clip to the this auto sandbag dash mount. Works like a charm.

    This works as it should. It is heavy and holds itself and the GPS on the dash without having to stick anything on the windshield or putting anything sticky on the dash.
