I have to look at the back of the piece to clip it in but for the most part this is great - it's easy to detach for example, but attaching it always feels awkward.

I did not choose to have a GPS included in standard equipment in a new car purchase. Instead I purchased this holder and a GPS with dash camera. This holder lets me position the camera in a direct position to record the trip and any accidents that may occur to my car.

This weighted unit allows me easy placement in my car WITHOUT having to worry about suction cups sticking to my windshield. I was concerned about it sliding...it doesn't slide at all. Reliable and easily portable. A great alternative to unstable windshield suction cups.

I like the stand. It is easy to use. It stays on the dashboard pretty much all the time. Once in a while step hills or sudden stops will make it slide.

I purchased this on a recommendation, particularly since I purchased a 6.5" screen Garmin. It has a mechanical connection to the base so there is no suction cup to fail. It stays in place quite well despite the heavy GPS. Very pleased, would recommend.

This vehicle mount for my GPS is very good. There are two different bases that serve as vehicle mounts. Make sure you get the one that has a cloth bottom, not the sticky bottom. The sticky bottom will actually make marks on your dash that are very very difficult to clean.

At first I was a little skeptical about this when the salesperson recommended it but he turned out to be right. This product works well and the first time that I used it driving around the city I purposefully tried to hit all of the potholes and speed bumps to see if it would fall over but no luck. The mount worked perfectly.

This beanbag base for my new GPS, is wonderful, we don't like the idea of mounting any thing on the windshield, not just because of the anointing rings it puts on the glass, but because, especially when having a large display device, it inhibits good clear and unobstructed vision.

I use my Garmin everyday for work and with this product it prevents the GPS from falling of the windshield or leaving behind ugly marks on the windshield ... I will always purchase this when using a GPS and I highly recommend to everyone. Very happy with my purchase.

This is the best vehicle mount for Garmin GPS. It is very stable when placed on the vehicle dashboard (as long it is reasonably flat, I didn't notice any move or slide during break. It is bit heavy, but expected and also kind of huge, it is ok with me on both counts. I hope it lasts long.

This product fits my older version GPS perfectly and has made my viewing so much easier while underway as well and it stashes away quickly too.
