Definitely a learning curve coming from a samsung watch. Works well. Pedometer is way off, especially when driving. The band it comes with is cheaper then amazon options and is VERY disappointing for the price of the watch. Found better quality bands on Amazon and etsy. This shouldnt cost more then $200-250 for what is offered. Does what it says. Battery lasts roughly 4-7 days depending on what im doing. The Venu 2 DOES NOT HAVE ECG, ONLY THE PLUS DOES. I purchased this with the notion it has ecg but does not. I contacted customer service that its falsely advertised.

I’ve had the watch for a while, and below is my honest review: Quality: pretty good all around. I’ve used regular watches all my life so I was actually quite surprised by how light this smart watch was. Interface: It’s decent, it is in fact a bit finicky navigating the watch, but I suppose that’s the biggest draw back about the watch. In terms of actual performance it seems fantastic. Battery life: now I’m not some olympic or gym rat but I have the watch on me all the time, including sleeping. I only take it off to shower (it’s water proof but i take it off and charge it while I shower). You could honestly go about 3 days without charging it and you’ll be fine. I am just a weirdo who likes to maintain my electronics above 50% battery. I go hiking and running a few times a week and home workouts 3 times a week so I use it quite a bit. Plus I’m using the little tracking gadgets like water drinking tracking and steps and other basic stuff so I’m very satisfied with the battery life. In general: just think about the purpose of the watch. For me it’s about getting a more concrete understanding of my daily fitness activity and overall health stats relating to my fitness. So this watch is honestly pretty fantastic. I would give 5 stars but like i said, the interface is low key kinda trash. I hope they fix it on the venu 3 where there’s a nice smooth satisfying interface. That being said, i recommend and approve this message.

Extremely accurate and efficient. Only disappointment is the lack of a ekg app like the plus model.

My first smart watch and first Garmin watch. While I think this is a great intro into Garmin watches now that I've been wearing it a while I feel like I should have gone with a forerunner or instinct for their extra training features and analytics. The Venu 2 feels like a hybrid of a traditional smart watch and a fitness tracker and ends up not being the best at either.

Accurate smartwatch, great battery over 5 days even with GPS. Only downfall is no speaker to answer calls, but the Venu 2 plus is out but I dont think the additional price is worth it. Healthy tracking is also very accurate and I believe better than Apple watch 7 which battery lasts just shy of 1 day only.

Great updates and features from the original Venu. Slightly bigger size makes a difference and the updates sensors are great! Interface can be a bit laggy though. I have had both colors and prefer the black version; the silver casing is a bit too shiny for my taste.

Good watch, I like the design of it. The UI is really simple to use and has a lot of. sports associated In comparison, for the same price, my wife got an Apple watch and has more functionalities (like voice command and ECG but on the downside, it has waaaay worse battery)

I purchased this because I was very happy with my previous Garmin. I returned it because I thought it would do ecg but I found out when I got it home that it did not. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 but realized the Garmin was better all along and I should have stuck with it

The venu 2 is alot easier to navigate and the pairing mode is smother. I am very pleased with my purchase. I can get 8 days on a charge! My only complaint is that the black started coming off within a couple of days.

Upgraded Venu to Venu2. Slightly better sleep monitoring but still have to adjust "actual wake-up time". Have to keep clean "soap water each morning" to get accurate heart rate. For the first few months "Inside Walking-Step-Counter" was very accurate". Recently I have seen a lot of inaccuracies. Garmin had me do a "hard reset" which didn't work. After I tried a total reset with out lost of data. Still evaluating that change. Strong features: Fairly Accurate Cycling, Outside Walking Data (HR & GPS). Sleep software has improved from Venu" but still needs work. Pairs with Polar H10 but Wrist HR is comparatively accurate if you keep the "watch clean". Oxygen Sensor is in accurate ( at least for dark skin). Garmin Technical Support is exceptional if you are having issues.

A good buy with large enough face to read, has what I need to track my workout/ jogging numbers. My only complaint is it keeps resetting to power save mode making it hard to see the screen as it is too dim for my old eyes.

Nice watch but beware of laser burns

I've been using this smartwatch for just over a month now so it seems accurate. The only problem I have is the laser and watchband burns my skin so sometimes I skip a few days wearing it. I bought the extended warranty so I may return it if this issue doesn't improve.
