A couple years ago when I was heavy into running I had a Garmin Forerunner 235 and it was a fantastic watch. After a couple years I didn’t run as much and decided to switch to an Apple Watch. As it was a good watch, I lost a lot of things I liked from my Garmin. I am now back into running and biking and decided to give this watch a shot after much thinking. So far, I have not thought twice about my decision. I had a small problem with syncing to connect but after plugging into my computer and giving it a software update it’s perfect. If you are hesitant I’m here to tell you this is a phenomenal watch and worth every penny. It’s light, it’s comfortable, and unlike Apple, you don’t need to plug it in all the time and you can actually sleep track. It’s so great to have a Garmin and a smart watch in one.

This device is perfect for my needs. Heart rate, pulse ox and Notifications. The battery has lasted me 5 days on average with constant pulse ox and heart rate. The assistance button works with my Samsung galaxy 22. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

This watch is great! Responsive heart rate monitor, phone notifications and talking! Fits perfect and I have tiny wrists. Battery life cannot be beat by any competitors. I have owned an apple watch to compare. I have already dropped it twice on concert and no scratches or chips. Perfect for me.

I went from the Samsung Galaxy 5 watch to this garmin venu 2 watch. Love how customizable this watch is! I was able to get my starbucks app on here, all sorts of trackers and activity apps! Love the ton of selection of watch faces available for free! Ive tried out the ECG app, does a great job and seems to run smooth. Lets not forget to mention the insanely awesome battery life!!! I can go days without having to charge my watch! Battery life blows away both Apple and Samsung in the watch department! Comfortable to wear, seems to hold up well with bumps into door jams and counters. No cellular capability, but id still choose this watch hands down over the competition anyday!

I’m a marathon runner and have always used my Apple Watch - I was noticing some lag in times, distance, and gps/maps and I would have to charge it every night. My Apple Watch just couldn’t keep up with me anymore. I have only ever known Apple and was a bit skeptical buying something not Apple. I LOVE THIS WATCH! And it was the best decision I could have made when it comes to my running. It does everything I used my Apple Watch for and is way more accurate! And the battery is amazing. I can go a week+ without having to charge it.

I love it! I really enjoy the continuous heart rate monitoring and the sleep monitoring. I have also fallen in love with the work out feature. Outside of tracking workouts, it actually has several different workouts on the watch that I can pull up and do along with a breathing app for stress. This is my first time owning a fitness watch, and I totally love it! The battery lasts for several days without charging and charges very quickly. It’s waterproof. I have taken it into the shower, and it was totally fine. The glass is also pretty durable. I am a somewhat clumsy person, and it’s still going strong.

Lasts a week on a charge. Got it to help monitor blood glucose with a dexcom. Works great for that. Had difficulty figuring out a lot of the features. It might be a little too complex for me. Did have an allergic reaction to the wristband. Contacted Garmin and they sent a hypoallergenic one-not as nice as the band it came with but great that they were quick to help.

I absolutely love this watch. I had a different brand previously, and the few extra dollars for a nice one like Garmin was definitely worth it. It holds a charge for days and does everything i wanted in a smartwatch. Works with Dexcom CGM app.

What can i say this watch is great. The gps works great on the trails. Heart rate, body battery, and sleep apps all work perfect. My watch is a big part of my workouts and coming from the Samsung active models this was a huge improvement as far as durability and function during sweaty times. Works great in the water as you're still able to use all functions. Battery life is amazing coming from my last brand. I usually charge this one once a week as with the other it was daily. The only thing i miss is the talk to text function which is great but i've learned easily to live without it. I could go on and on but lets face it this is just a review from a random buyer. So go try it for yourself and you wont be disappointed.

    Switched from Galaxy Watch4 Classic

I moved over to the Garmin Venu 2 Plus from my Galaxy Watch4 Classic, as I was using the Galaxy Watch and a Whoop band, which made me look like a Power Ranger. I wanted to move over to one device that could satisfy both workout/watch needs. I wasn't the biggest fan of Samsung Health nor Google Fit (I'm a bit of a fitness junkie) because it didn't give the level of granularity that I was looking for, but for casual use, I'm sure the Galaxy Watch would be more than enough. Obviously with the move, I lost the Samsung store, OS Wear and LTE, but honestly, I wasn't using the store often and really didn't need an LTE connection as my phone is with me 99% of the time. When I don't have my phone on me, I'm either out on a run and need GPS to track my run, which the Garmin can do without being connected to a device, so it's honestly a non-issue for me. I will say, the battery life on the Watch 4 is pretty decent. I used the always on display and regularly got 1.5 to 2 days of life, which was sufficient for my needs (since I was using my WHOOP for sleep tracking), but the Garmin battery is out of this world.... I charged it last Monday and didn't take it off of my wrist until Wednesday to charge (9 days) and I could have very likely squeaked out another day before it died. So, with all of that said, the Garmin battery is good enough for sleep tracking, workouts, etc, so I've parted ways with the WHOOP band and my Power Ranger days. :) And to add, it's incredibly lightweight!! I don't miss my Galaxy Watch AT ALL... no regrets.

I am absolutely enamored with my Garmin Venu 2 Plus! This exceptional smartwatch has seamlessly integrated into my daily life, and I can't help but rave about its numerous features. The stunning AMOLED display is a visual delight, bringing clarity and vibrancy to every interaction. What truly sets it apart is the comprehensive health and fitness tracking—its ability to monitor everything from sleep metrics to on-device workouts makes it an invaluable companion for anyone pursuing an active lifestyle. The inclusion of built-in GPS has been a game-changer during my workouts, providing precise tracking without the need for my phone. And let's talk about the joy of streaming music directly from the watch—complete freedom from carrying a phone while exercising is a game-changer. The Garmin Venu 2 Plus isn't just a smartwatch; it's a fitness powerhouse that goes beyond expectations. Moreover, the sleek design adds a touch of elegance to my wrist, making it not just a tech gadget but a style statement. I appreciate the attention to detail in the craftsmanship, which is evident in every aspect of the watch. Battery life is often a concern with smartwatches, but the Venu 2 Plus impresses with its longevity. I can confidently rely on it throughout the day, whether I'm tracking my workouts, receiving notifications, or simply enjoying the myriad of watch faces available. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a smartwatch that seamlessly blends style with functionality, elevates your fitness tracking, and enhances your overall well-being, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus is an outstanding choice. It's more than just a device; it's a delightful daily companion that I can't imagine my routine without.

Way better than any Fitbit you’ll find. I went through 2 HR Charge, another square one (forgot the name) and a Charge 3. ALL of them either just stopped working or stopped tracking. And no, I didn’t get them wet or abuse them. Now to the Venu 2 Plus, amazing battery life (7-10 days), comfortable, stylish, tracks what I wan tracked. The only downside is I cannot add food eaten/calories like I did for my Fitbit.

I really like this watch. The ability to take phone calls is a nice feature. The fact that I can get an ECG on my watch is an invaluable feature right now. As far as battery life, that depends on your usage. I usually get anywhere from 7 days or more based on my usage. I know they say you can get up to 11. I haven't reached that yet. But I use my watch heavily. The display is nice. The setup is easy. I do recommend this.

I love this watch and garmin definitely takes care of its customers. I had an issue with my watch, and they happily reached out to assist, sent a replacement and bands as well. Best Buy is also awesome as they confirmed that the warranty i purchased would transfer to the replacement watch. The watch it self is awesome, the only thing id siffest is that they add a temperature reader to it! I love my venu 2 plus!

Very pleased with this device. The GPS is accurate, the battery life is good, the screen is clear bright and crisp. Being able to take a call on a Garmin device is wonderful, and google assistant works well. I switch between the Venu 2 and Epix 2 quite a bit. The Epix is more feature packed but more cumbersome. I use the Venu for days I must go into the office or wear a suit, but still want my Garmin on. It's a great everyday device, but it's still a dedicated fitness device vs a smartwatch.
