Frustrating Experience Connecting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Garmin Venu 2 Plus from Best Buy and while I had other Garmin watches before, this one is probably my most frustrating purchase. While other Garmin watches connect just fine to the Garmin Connect app, for some reason, the Venu 2 Plus just has connectivity issues. I'm not sure if it's the device, but I spent over 3 hours resetting, connecting, and syncing the device and it still did not work properly. It would occasionally not connect to the Garmin Connect app, which is something I have not experienced before with other watches. Other watches take 1-2 seconds to and sync to the app whereas the Venu 2 Plus takes more than 10s. Even trying to install apps like Spotify would just be stuck at "Install queued" from the Garmin Connect IQ app. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that I have not had with other Garmin watches, and I caution others that are thinking about purchasing one.

Better than an Apple Watch SE

The wife received an Apple Watch SE got her birthday but within two weeks did like it because you had to charge it everyday. The Garmin is once a week…BIG PLUS

Unfortunately, I needed to replace my first one due to a cracked screen. With the first, i could easily get 2 weeks of charge time, without GPS connection. My current watch, I am lucky to get 4 days, MAX. Garmin claims no changes from my first to second Venu 2 Plus, but also tells me to delete all apps, which I have non downloaded and factory reset the watch. I have tried this twice and no luck, same issue. I will not be keeping this watch.

Gps works flawlessly. One thing and its not garmins fault is the apple integration sucks but thats mostly due to apple closing out alot of their ecosystem.

The battery life is at least 50% better, the display is brighter, and the new features are definite upgrades.

Battery life has been amazing so far compared to my Apple watch. Still need to learn how to use a lot of the features--but i'm getting there! So far so great!
